* Fierce Chase*

That was how the relationship began and Marlie too began to come around, she thought it would defend lead to a lifetime one where they'll gonna stay together forever because Mario indeed has won her heart, by his speech, manners, gifts, pleasant surprises and composure. little did she know that things sometimes had to go anticlockwise

so they continued, they would most time go out, laugh, eat and have some fun together

Not until the lady Moorie sparky came around. Mario found her at a shopping plaza where he went to purchase some few packages for a friend, a fellow mate of his' those days, he was still in school, who he met recently.

He saw this pretty eye stunning, fair and elegant standing lady buying some jewelries for her self.

he couldn't resist her charming look so he kept gazing and the pretty lady elegantly walked and pass him, he just stood there motionless beholding the beauty God had placed in one soul

'God sometimes you are partial" he whispered. as he realised he was talking to himself, he made moves, turn around and ran after her, he finally met her almost as she was about to head into her Mitsubishi outlander Jeep. she hissed, turn around and said" what the heck! who's this old chick". Mario couldn't hear what she said, but he knew her mouth did say something, he managed to leap as he arrived, he looked at her.

". hi! he said, I'm Mario and you??

Sparky took a disdainful look at him and said

" hee! am Sparky"

he smiled and said " it's nice meeting you"

I guess we'll have sometime to talk.

Sparky smiled and said " always a pleasure, am available.

they both exchanged contacts and Mario hoping to see her soon, waved at her untill she speeds up.

That was how he came to know Sparky and literally he found out what distinguished her and the lady on his office, Sparky was slim,tall, and fair in complexion but so curvy and round shaped.

Marlie on the other hand was slim too, chocolate, very beautiful too, she had a nice shape but not as.much as Sparky had. Sparky have a radiating skin, one would say that she is half human~ half mermaid cos of the way her skin radiates, he took notice of this and chose to go with her although she had a Haughty! and awful character compared to Marlie, he decides to make his choice from the duo who to define go for

indeed!! Marlie was his first love but Sparky seems to have taken a more space in his heart than for Marlie. it was on such occasions they both came together (Mario & Marlie) at their normal hotel for fun, he discovered that Marlie knew something about Sparky

then he jumped into the conclusion that

Marlie was a backstabbet, who invades his privacy, little did he know that she's her childhood friend, the one she has known for a very longtime, just that they lost contact during their NYSC program,

Bewildered! Mario sprang to his feet and without waiting for any explanation left Marlie 😢.

Poor Marlie! she didn't even understand what was going on, she followed after trembling and calling his name...

And as she couldn't reach to him, she stormed out to search and sort for opinion, to seek her lost friend, seems smelt danger😯.

** Sparky continues to live her own jealous life, becoming more of a rotten and nice egg placed side by side,

she actually didn't know about Marlie's affairs with her old chick as she normally describe him, she never wanted to know and since she cared less about his past, why should she disturb her man??

mmh Mario kept it from her, litterally because she never asked, perhaps if she had questioned, he would have explained and then she will discover the love clash between the love 🐦 birds, so ?

she lived on dating series of men with different qualities and classes,

something was however Snoopy, despite the nick name he gave Mario because he's one of the oldest man she has dated, she loved him most but couldn't disclose it, reasoning that it could make his man see her as less important.

😊 and on the love affair kept growing and extending to a new level of a new Chase 😊 each day.

** At the office, Lizzy took notice of the manager's approaches too with the pretty looking Marlie but was seriously envying her, all her life, she always wish to have him all for herself

on various occasions, she had seen him with her and most times, when they leave together, she secretly eyed Marlie and opted to go extra mile even if it will cost Marlie's life to make sure he got Me Mario at her Beck and call, she resorted to wearing flimsy tight dresses so as to get his attention but Mr Mario cared less about it, he notice her change in dressing pattern and on one occasion he confronted her too, but she won't just easily let in, she just wanted to have him around.

As the latter keeps performing her magic on his manager the former kept all her problems to heart, she discovered Mario no longer goes out with her more often and the most piercing incident was the one Mario left her despite all her yells and calls to know what the problem was and why he left like that

That incident caught her attention Soo much that she phone called to explain to Mario if needs be, but the man wasn't forthcoming

Meanwhile, an external orditor came from the state and was directed to the firm for inspection after learning that it's the best firm in the town

" integrated wealth accumulator for investment" was regarded as the best in town for any affairs concerning economy and managery aligned with investment in the city, the Man in his early thirties was a very humble and down to earth man, a man who has never allowed his affluence to ruin the minds of those below his level, he was highly respected.

On this day, be paid a visit to the firm to get some things solved and sort out, he found his old rival there and decided that this is the best opportunity to make peace with him not knowing that peace is actually gonna visit his soul there, Mr Wealth by name was still single searching bachelor but never detailed it out to people

Many muttered that he used his body for rituals and maybe that's why he didn't want to marry despite his great wealth

but Mr Wealth and his Maker alone knows why he hasn't married, neither spoken to any lady about marriage before.

Fate have ways of catching with people, As Mr Wealth came to this known firm, he saw Marlie from the translucent glass from her office as she was busy delivering her duties and mails to different sections, what took his attention to her was what he couldn't understand

How hardworking and modest a pretty lady like this could be?? he asked no one in particular

He resorted to himself and after taking close watch at her, he asked his friend about her as he was fine with his inspection and about to leave " oh! this our clerk officer! the Miss- Marlie, she's such and industrious lady" he exclaimed regardless😊.

he just modded, smiled and left.
