4. The King of the Mafia.

He loves when the person opposite to him gets scared. He feels oddly satisfied and he doesn't care whoever it is. Everyone in the underground world calls him Boss as he is the King of the Mafia Pack.

"Please leave me." The man begged to free him from the position he is in or to forgive him. Zane could bet it was the latter one. 

Zane stood right in front of the man tied to the chair and held his jaw tightly making him wince in pain but he showed no mercy. 

"So how do you want to die, James? By poison or by drugs or by burning your body or getting eaten by piranhas or anything you wish? You know I'm not that bad." Zane said chuckling darkly and James, the man who was tied to the chair, visibly shivered at the coldness in his voice. 

"Boss, give me one last chance to prove myself." James tried again. Zane's eyes immediately turned a shade darker. 

"The time we let you enter into this world and gave you a chance to prove yourself is the only chance you get here and you misused it clearly." Zane shouted making James flinch at his tone. 

"I didn't mean to backstab you, Boss. My family was held hostage and I didn't have any option than answering their questions." James replied quietly, not understanding how to escape this situation but he found no ways to escape. 

"Don't you know?" Zane asked, tightening his jaw to which James got confused.

"I have made clear to everyone that their family is my responsibility and if anyone holds your family as hostage, come to me and I will do anything to save you, but instead of that you planned saying our plans and secrets to him and you lost your family too." Zane said gritting his teeth visibly angry. 

James cowardly back in fear not knowing what to say. Zane's enemy tried wooing him but when it didn't work and when James proved his loyalty, his enemies took James' family as bait and made him spill the beans and also offered a lot of money.

Everything happened in a blur that James panicked and answered all their questions as he became greedy when he was offered money for which he is paying off his life now. 

Zane's jaw was ticking hard and he took a moment before taking a knife and sliced the throat of James smoothly before taking his gun and kept it on James' chest and shot it. James' head hit the ground and before he knew it, he left this world. 

Door opened again revealing a man who is just an inch or two less than Zane, with his curly blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes with a pointed nose and sharp jawline, the man looked like a model but he was less handsome compared to Zane of course. He had a lean and muscular body and he was tucked in a white shirt with a black denim jeans and a gun in his back pocket. He looked at the body infront of Zane and sighed. 

"Time to clean up buddy. He is already dead." The man said and Zane threw the knife filled with blood across the room before tucking his gun in his back. Zane growled slowly out of anger before turning to see the man and closed his eyes out of frustration before punching the nearby wall in anger. 

The man didn't even flinch. He casually kept his hands in his pockets and said, "You need to attend anger management classes you know." Zane growled loudly trying to make the man shut up. 

But the man didn't stop and said, "If you keep on growling like a wolf, no girl would ever come to you getting scared and your looks will be wasted. Come on, you have grown up this handsome, you don't have to waste them." 

"Shut the fuck up, Ashton." Zane shouted and this time the man, Ashton shut his mouth silently. 

"See how many fuckers are there around us. So greedy for money. His family is dead because of his greediness." Zane said with anger. He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose to calm himself down. 

"We could have saved them if we could right?We can't regret something that has already happened, Zane. All we can do is to be careful for the next time." Ashton said, trying to calm Zane but it looked like he was in no mood to calm down.

"Clean the blood on the ground and throw his body to the dogs in the mansion we don't even need to cremate it." Zane said gritting his teeth to which Ashton simply nodded his head.

"Is there anything you should inform me about?" Zane asked after calming himself as they both walked outside to his living room and Ashton nodded his head in yes.

Ashton is his best friend and also his Co-CEO of the company. But, Zane never came out in the spotlight before because he handles Mafia Business while Ashton handles the Zane Family Business. They are best friends since they are 5 and when Ashton lost his parents when he was 10 in an accident and his relatives gave up on him and so, Zane's family took in him. Zane's family look after Ashton as he is their another son. Now, Ashton handles their legal business while Zane handles their illegal Business but he doesn't at all deals with some nasty stuff.
