Wifely Duties

Damon's POV

I put my wife on the bed took warm water and a towel and started to clean her up after all that I got in tucked her in the blanks and slept next to her. I love this woman so much.

"Cayetana, Cayetana!!!" I heard someone calling which made me open my eyes

"Who is it!?" I shouted

"Umm, it's Clover, mother said I should call Cayetana and you downstairs for dinner" she said

"What?" my bambino asked

"Buongiorno Piccola" I said to be and kissed her forehead

(Morning baby)

"Morning Damon," she said to me and put her arms around my waist

"Clover is outside, should I let her in ?" I asked and she nodded

"Come in !" I shouted and the door slowly opened showing a Clover who was pissed but tried to hide it

"What is it Clover?" my baby asked

"Mother said you should come down for dinner," she said

"Thank you, we'll be right down, after getting dressed" Cayetana said and looked at me embarrassed

"Okay," Clover said and quickly got out

"You didn't have to bring her in to see such a scene" Cayetana said laughing

"You nodded to it," I said to her

"Yes because I thought she would not come in" she said while laughing

It was good to see her laugh, I loved her laughter and smile

"I love you Cayetana" the words just came out of my mouth

"I love you too Damon" she said and smiled at me

After what seemed like an hour we were done washing ourselves and getting descent so we went downstairs

"Mother, father," Cayetana said and we sat down next to each other

"How was your rest?" her father asked

"It was good" I answered

"How's marriage been for you my dear," her mother asked

"It has been good, everything has been well," Cayetana said and fake smiled, at this point, I could already tell the different types of smiles she gave

"I hope my daughter is performing her wifely duty well," her father said

"Judging by the moans from earlier, what do you think ?" I asked

What the fuck was he on about wifely duties?

"It seemed that all is well, at least she's not disappointing," her mother said

"She can never disappoint, she is Cayetana Rose, after all, the daughter of the Rose Princess herself," I said looking at her stepmother

"Yes she is true" her father said and chuckled it away awkwardly

"I'll be honest with you Mr Ianshov, Cauetana is mine, my Donna and my wife, which means any wrong done to her is wrong done to me, may whatever happened before her wedding days never happen again," I said and took a sip of my wine

"What are you talking about Mr Santiago?" her stepmom asked laughing awkwardly

"Just know that I love my wife and I'm willing to end a whole generation just for her," I said and held her hand from beneath the dining table

The Ianshov needed to know that Cayetana was not an object and she never was one at all, she wouldn't start being one too.

She was my life, my wife, my hope and my forever and I loved her with all my heart, soul and brain. There was no way of letting her go anytime soon
