That was my fault

Doman and Cayetana had been quiet while walking downstairs

Cayetana had tried all her best to cover all the bite marks that were all over her neck with with a fleece

When they arrived by the table Damon's friends and people he knew were sitting down speaking with Darick and Amelia

"Damon!" Amelia said as soon as she saw him

"What are you all doing at my house?" Damon asked

"When Darick told us about your behaviour towards sister inlaw, we just had to see it ourselves," Eric said

"So you had to come in a group of 15, did you ever think that doing so would scare my wife or she would feel disrespected, this is our privacy," Damon said

"Sorry boss," Rick said

Damon just let them be and helped Cayetana sit down and then sat next to her

"Seems like you've been getting yourself into trouble, your lips are swollen and brushed," Andrew said

"That was my fault," Cayetana said softly

"Wow sister inlaw, I see you're marking your territory," Eric said and the boys laughed

"There's no territory to mark, I already belong to her," Damon said and smiled

"Can we eat please?" a jealous Amelia asked

Their food was served by the maids and they started eating

"So dude, why are we only finding out from Darick that you got married," Fyn asked

"Yeah boss, why we were not invited to the wedding?" Chase asked

"You were busy and I didn't want you to chase my bride away," Damon said and looked at Cayetana who looked at him back

"You seem to be sweating baby, let me take that off for you," Damon said teasing her

"No my love, I'm fine" she said

"You are sweating sister inlaw, listen to brother," Josh said

"I just got some bruises," Cayetana said looking at Damon

"I'm sure it's not that bad, we all got our scars," Author said and smiled

"You really don't understand," Cayetana said

"Don't worry baby" Damon said and Cayetana finally gave in and took the fleece off. She was getting really hot after all

"Holy shit!!" Darick, Author, Aidan and Micheal screamed

"Boss, please tell me you're not responsible for this," Astro said

"If not me then who else?" Damon asked

" You are a beast Damon" Darick said

"How could you do this to sister inlaw, you should dump his ass sister inlaw, this is too much," Jack said

"C-can we eat and stop talking about it?" Cayetana asked all flustered

"I'm full, good night," Amelia said and stood up

"Ammy, where are you going?" Ezra asked

"I'm planning on moving back home, I'll go pack," she said and went, one could see the tears she was holding back

"Sis-in-law, will you be going to Mexico too?"Ezra asked

"Yes," Cayetana said

"That's great," Ezra said and smiled

"Don't go smiling like that with my wife, she's taken" Damon said and gave Cayetana a peck

"Boss is so lovesick" Jack said and the boys agreed

Darick was a little cold at first, but he gave in, the dinner was full of laughs and Cayetana had gotten used to them.

After dinner they all sat down and talked about silly things with Cayetana, there she found out that they all worked for Damon, but they were also his friends since they more or less grew up together

Cayetana could not believe that she could find comfort in the home of the man that she had thought of killing on their wedding day which was just yesterday

She ended up sleeping on Damon's lap peacefully with all her guards down
