Suicide in the castle

Hours passed.

Rhaziel withdrew to his castle chamber to get some rest, but as he did, he suddenly realized that the guardian beast was always terrorizing the kitchen at this hour of the night.

He left the chamber and made his way to the castle's main kitchen where he saw Nikolai feeding Pain some raw meat.

Rhaziel decided to leave the two so he could spend the rest of the evening alone without having to look after the insane lycan with family issues.

But who wasn't dealing with family issues?

Shaking his head, he proceeded past the entrance of the castle's main sitting room and caught sight of a certain dark fairy pacing around out of the corner of his eye.

Reluctantly, he stopped, entered the room, and waited near the entrance without knowing whether to wave at her or say something to jolt her from her reverie and cease pacing.

Esmeralda, though, caught sight of him and stopped walking, giving him a frown. "What are you doing here?"
