Chapter Nine: Regret

Angelica soft and worried voice echoed in The Lucifer's hear. He went into her dream to scare her a little. He didn't show his true self to Angelica because of his plan to manipulate her, he decided to remain in his young handsome "Nicholas" style.

"What am doing here? I'm here to meet the girl that keeps stalking me. Not stalking exactly tho but you really bother me alot" He pouted but Angelica's mind isn't in his talk she wondered where she was because this isn't her room. Perhaps, did she get kidnapped by this man? Fear gripped her heart. She knew her mother and father would get worried if they find her in her room.

"Pls take me back home" Se pleaded and the man gaze was unfathomable.

"Huh?" He said confusingly.

"Pls, take me home" She begged again.

"So you are scared of being kidnapped but you don't fear the person in front of you" He smirked.

"Why should I be scared of you and why did you kidnap me?" She asked

"because you want to marry me."He smirked. Angelica didn't utter a word as she kept on staring at him.

"Why? You don't want me to marry you?.....Pls, Let me go home, my parents would be worried about me if they finds out that I'm gone" Angelica pleaded while the facial expression on Luciano face was unfathomable.

"I won't kill you and I'm not planning to keep you here forever. I just hope you are ready for what you are getting yourself into because you will surely regret knowing a man like me. He said sternly and shiver went through Angelica's spine. She smiled but her smile was dubious.

"Stop making me scared of you because I won't leave you. I want you" She said firmly and Lucifer ran his hand through his hair with a smirk on his lip.

"Very well then! I won't say more than this. You suppose to know the Devil. He doesn't warn before his action but I'm just concerned about you.... HAHAHA, Crazy me" He went through the darkness and he wasn't seen again.

"Nich... Nicholas....a..are you there?' Her voice was only heard in the dark room.

"Ahhhh" Angelica stood up from her bed with sweats on her face. She looked at her hands and they weren't tied. How the hell did she get here? Did she have a night mare and Nicholas was in it? Angelica quickly dashed into her bathroom to take her bath. Not quite long, she came out but she caught sight of her mom.

"Good morning dear" Her mother faked a smile and Angelica frowned.

"Good morning Mom, is there a problem?" She hugged her mom.

"Why dear? Do I look like someone's who is troubled?" She smiled

"Not really.....You look sad" She pouted her lip

"I'm fine dear" She said.

"How's Dad?" She immediately asked and Pamela's reaction quickly changed. She knows how much she loves her father but she also needs to know what her father is planning against her.

"He is in his room." She shortly said.

"Mom, are you hiding something from me?" She couldn't help but ask. Her mother was never calm like this. She had never come to her room so early to greet her. What exactly was wrong?

Pamela gulped her spit hard as she couldn't destroy the eye connection between she and her daughter.

"Nothing. I'm just moody today. I couldn't sleep well." She said but Angelica was still unconvinced.

"So, how are you preparing about your birthday tomorrow?" Pamela changed the topic and Angelica heaved a sigh.

"Hmm....No preparations Mom. No need clothes, No party and Nobody can is talking about my birthday. It's something I've expected. It's nothing new. It will.just be a normal day for me." She smiled and her Mother knew that the smile was full of sadness. She turned her face downward looking at the floor.

"I'm sorry dear. I wish you were never born this way. I always want you to be happy and free from this evil world but I can't just take it away." Her mother said with sadness and Angelica couldn't help but cry.

"I want you to be very happy dear. Just tell me anything Angelica, anything that you want, as far it will make you happy. I will fulfill it" She promised.

"Really Mom" She hopped in excitement.

"Yes dear....just mention it" She said with a wild smile.

"I want King Nicholas Mom. I want him to be my husband" She excitingly said. Pamela's smile faded and then it came back. She expected her to order something expensive or visit the most expensive place in the world but NO, she didn't. She wanted a Man? King Nicholas? The man known to be the Devil? Really?

"Do you love him?" She asked and Angelica scoffed silently.

"Love? Yes Mom. I l...love him." She hesitantly said.

"Tell me dear.....do you truly love him?" She asked again and she investigated all Angelica facial expressions.

"Fine Mom.....I don't know if it's love but there's something about him that I like. I really don't know but I feel safe whenever he is around me. His aura is warming and I always think of him. He I the only guy I've known so far that isn't afraid of me. I like him. I truly like him" Angelica said innocently and Pamela smiled. She hugged her daughter.

"Oh dear.....I give you my blessings if you want to marry him dear. I will try my best to make you two together." She stroked her daughter's hair.

"He always threatens me to stay away from him but I won't give up. I know that eventually, he will get to know me better and Like me" She hopefully said.

"I hope so dear. I just hope you won't regret any of your actions. I want the best and whatever makes you happy, makes me happy too" She smiled as she patted her daughter back.

"Thanks you Mom. It's seems today is blessed day for me" Angelica smiled.

"Mmm.... Enjoy your day. I will be in the King's Chamber" She said as she strode to the door. Angelica giggled as her smiled brightened.
