Hilda huffed and leaned back against the couch. She shut her eyes and rubbed her forehead. "Blanco came back and he's begging to reunite with me."

And how the hell was that supposed to be his business? Luis thought.

"Why are you telling me this?"

Hilda fixated a glare on him. "You've not changed. Still distant as you have always been."

Luis shrugged. "Can't help but be this way."

Hilda snatched her purse from the table before her as stood to her feet. "I shouldn't have come to you after all."

"I'm sorry but I can be of no help to you. Sort out your issues and get back to me whenever you need me."

Hilda bent and picked one of her shoes, she flung it at him at her heels connected with his lower jaw. Not caring to know if he was alright, Hilda picked up her shoe and stomped downstairs.
