"See it while I'm awake?"
I questioned, this power was a very new concept to me and now I'm just hearing about it. How am I supposed to suddenly go and use it?
Principal Nezu nodded.
"Yes, we will take you to the U.A gym, and help you activate and hone your abilities, which probably means that you'll be taken out of our quirkless program, and probably get transferred over to class 1-B."
He explained, folding his hands on the desk. His eyes read more curiosity as he continued to speak, clearly aware of my untapped potential.
"Although, we'll need to "assemble" the "witnesses."
He added on, standing up from his desk and walking in front of me, I looked down at Principal Nezu, for he only stood about 3 feet tall maximum.
"Now, let's go."
He proclaimed, opening the door and letting me walk into the silent hallway. Then he turned to me and spoke again.
"Actually, wait just here."
He clammed before he walked down the hallway and towards the general studies wing. I looked down at my phone just to check the time, the digital clock read 12:52, meaning lunch was in about 15 minutes, so I hope I'll be there in time.
After a good 10 minutes he returns with both Shinso and Aizawa we're looking at me with unreadable expressions.
"So what I'm hearing is you're not quirkless?"
Shinso asked, stepping towards me, Aizawa remained silent.
"Apparently."
My voice was a little softer, still contemplating in the back of my mind what all this means.
"Well then, let's see if you're worth our time."
Aizawa announced, taking a few steps before reaching next to Principal Nezu, who jumped up and snuggled inside the white binding cloth hung around his shoulders.
We then proceeded down the hallway and towards the gym, I watched as a few students who skipped class ducked behind walls, a few used their quirks to make themselves invisible. Aizawa gave the students harsh glares.
"Get back to class."
He hissed at the group before pressing on, I could hear the frantic squeaking of shoes echo down the hallway, before the sound of doors opening and closing also was heard.
The gym doors were pretty loud to open, and as we stepped in I scanned the large concrete room with large windows overhead, the room was filled with multiple things to help practice with honing quirks.
"Now, Isaac..."
Principal Nezu said, his tiny head peeking from the cloth.
"I want you to close your eyes and focus."
I stared at the ground for a few seconds, before taking a deep breath in and out, I then closed my eyes tightly.
"Now, visualize a ball of light, it can be any color you desire."
I watched as a crimson ball of light started to float in my mind, radiating with a serine, calm aura.
"Visualize you holding the ball, cupping it in your hands, is it hot, cold or warm, rough, smooth?"
I "cupped the ball" in my head, the ball had a hotter feel to it, like a tiny burning fire, and it was pretty smooth to the touch.
"Now, picture you throwing the ball up and down like a baseball."
I started to "throw and catch" the imaginary ball, hearing the tiny echo it made when it collided with my hand, it was like hearing a glass ball. I did this for about a minute before Nezu spoke up again.
"Now, I want you to drop the ball onto the ground, will it shatter, bounce or just maybe even melt?"
I "dropped the ball" and when it hit the imaginary floor, it didn't melt, bounce or even sit there, it started to expand like a puddle of water, which started to flow brighter and brighter.
Behind the "veil" of darkness covering my eyes, I saw a faint splotch of red on the bottom part of the darkness, which was where the floor would've been.
"Uhm...kid?"
I heard Aizawa shout out, I immediately opened my eyes and looked down, the exact puddle I visualized was in the real world!
The puddle wasn't like a puddle at all, but like an illusory hole that went on forever and ever like a pit.
"Wow..."
I heard Shinso murmur, reaching his hand out towards the splotch on the ground only for Aizawa to hold it midway.
"I wouldn't touch it."
Aizawa scolded the boy, before letting go of his arm. Suddenly the room got louder as the puddle started to spin, or what was inside the puddle was spinning.
Then a large sucking current of wind immediately engulfed the room, Principal Nezu held on to Aizawa's binding cloth for dear life, but I started to feel my legs moving beneath my feet, scraping against the concrete floors.
Before I knew it, I was falling down the hole, then everything went black.
