Ariel walked out of the hospital and caught a cab to her little apartment.

She opened the door to be chewed out.

"Meow meow meow meow meow!!!" a cute little calico yelled.

"I know, I am sorry for being late. My poor baby girl must be hungry." She laid her things down and went straight to the kitchen. She could see the dry food was gone so she filled it up. Baby just sat there.

"You want chicken party tonight don't you." The cat started purring. She opened the can and place it in a pink bowl and when she sat it down the cat went wild. "Easy Baby take your time." She then dump the water and filled it up with fresh.

Ariel then opened the frigidaire and looked in. She really needed to go shopping. She took out the jug of milk and then opened the cabinet and took out her chocolate puffs and made herself a bowl of cereal.

As she ate she went through her mind everything that had happened today. How did he know her last name was Thomas. Her grandfather had it changed to stop the teasing when she was 10. She even had to change schools. Did he know her back then? Losing her parents was really hard. Losing her little brother was even harder. She still missed him to this day.

She finished eating and so did baby so she washed both bowls. She then walked in to change her cloths. She had showered at work so she just put on her GJs. Her grandmother had a thing for Gorgeous Jammies. She had two draws full.

She then curled up in bed with her lap top and did a search for Marcus McKenna.

She found an article about him.

If he has all this money why does he need her help. Her stomach was now nervous about seeing his photo again. She closed her laptop and ran her fingers over the name Jensen II. Her grandfather had gotten it for her three years ago. He said it was meant for her because it had her name on it. She then heard her phone buzz with a message and she picked it up. It was from Marcus.

She read the message a few times before typing her answer.

Ariel could feel that something was coming that would change her life but would it be for the good?

Marcus smiled. He got her to agree and it was at Mickey's mother's restaurant. He looked at the messages again. He would one day give her the world.

He was released from the hospital even though the doctor wanted him to stay a few more days. He really needed to start some rehab to build his mussels up. He had to much to do and promised he would do PT at home. Mickey picked him up and took him to his house.

"Did you find out anything?" Marcus asked.

"The only thing new that you did not know was that she does not have any family. No daughter on any records. I'm sure of it."

"Why would she lie?"

"Don't know, maybe it was just to get out of there last night."

"Keep looking into her background. I really need to be one step ahead to win her heart."

"Why not do like the rest of the world and find out when the time is right?" Mickey asked.

"That not how we work." Marcus said "How do I get up stairs?"

"I can't help. Let me call Harper. He is strong enough, or maybe Heny your partner."

"Never mind. I'll just move down here till I get stronger. Can you get someone over to convert my den into a master bedroom. Them move all my things down here." He asked.

"I am not your assistant. I am a private eye. Call Mandy your girl friday." He said.

"Fine could you at least get my phone for me?" Marcus asked.
