Kara is alive (73)

Heny called JJ. "Give that shot to Sarah and pray Kara is not lost yet. I think she knew we still needed her to save Ariel."

"What are you saying?" JJ asked.

"Just do it. Ariel and I will be there soon."

Heather, Ariel, and Heny then set out for the secret under ground base.

JJ did as Heny had asked and gave the shot to Sarah. He watched the lifeless body. It was to late. He waited another 30 minutes before walking out of the room. As soon as the door was closed Kara took a deep coughing breath and opened her eyes.

She tried to move but was a little weak. This body had been in a coma like state for a month. She was weak. She tried to get up only to fall to the floor.

They wanted her to die but realized they still needed her to save that girl. She would not do that now. She would never help anyone that would wish her dead.

JJ sent two of his men in to place Sarah's body on ice and went back to his office. He wanted to call Heny but knew he would be on a plane right now. So he called Harrison instead.

"Sorry I could not talk earlier. Did you find Marcus?" JJ asked.

"No, but I found a leed. He checked into the bed and breakfast that I am staying at. He went to look at some land for sale. When the guy is back I will know more."

"Good, when you find him tell him Ariel needs him. We found her but Heny says she is poisoned and the only person who could save her is dead because of me. I failed my brother."

"We will figure out something. I'll keep you updated." Harrison said.

Kara screams as the two soldiers try to get her back on the bed and tie her down. She can not let these men capture her but she is two weak right now. She struggles but it did no good and she is placed restraints on the bed. One man runs back with blood dripping down his arm to inform the commander of the situation.

"Commander the woman is alive."

"Shit are you all right?" JJ asked.

"She bit me but I'll be ok. Madison is guarding her right now. She is restrained on the bed now. Do I have your permission to go to the infirmary."

"Go, good work. Check with me later. He walked down the hall at a fast pace as Harper just come out of the room with Mickey.

"Where you going?" Harper asked.

"She is alive. Mickey stay in your room. Harper come with me." JJ explained what was going on and why he had to give the shot to wake Kara up.

She was screaming at the top of her lungs as they entered the room.

"You tried to kill me. You went back on your word." She yelled.

"Kara calm down." Harper said.

"No, you promised to release me. I kept my word. I could of killed that cry baby but I gave him back to you."

"Kara listen to me. If you would of been honest with us, we would of been honest with you. Ariel saved herself from the island we did not need you."

Kara laughed out loud. "You think she is safe. She will die now. She will suffer a great deal before her body will just give up and turn into a pile of glue. You know nothing and see nothing."

"If you want any freedom at all you will help us. Understand?" JJ said.

She huffed her chest and turned towards the wall. "I would rather die then help you." She then closed her eyes.

Mickey came in and walked pass Harper and JJ. Harper reached out to him and he just shook his head.

"Kara, I know you and I know your heart. Even though you are demonic most of the time you are just hurt. Help us help our friend. Please." He touched her shoulder.

"Nelson, I just want a chance to live. Is that so bad." Kara said.

"No, they were wrong to trick you but you were wrong to. You kept me away from my loved ones for so long. I never tried to keep you from coming out I just did not want you to do bad things. Please, I promise if you help Marcus and Ariel I will help you live a life on your own."

She turned to face Mickey. She had tears in her eyes. "I'll help you and Marcus but not them. Get them away from me."

JJ and Harper backed out and Mickey stood by her side.

"Let me up and give me a pen and paper."

He untied her and handed a notebook and pen to her. She went to writing down things.

"I need these things to make a potion to help. Thank you for trusting me."

"Even though you scared me sometimes you always protected me. You even protected my sister once. I want to do the same." He left the room and looked at the list.

When Heny got there he look at the list too. Some of these things were almost impossible to get.

"What is Hericium americanum?" Harper asked.

"It's also know as Corpse Flower because it smells like a rotting corpse. It is found in Sumatra." Heny said.

"And Hericium americanum?" Harper pointed at.

"Also know as Bear's-Head Tooth Mushroom. It is an editable mushroom found in North America. Some of these things will be hard to find but not impossible. We need to make plans right away." Heny said walking out with the list in hand.

Harper turned to look at Mickey who was standing by Kara's bed. "Are you coming?"

"I want to stay here for a little while please." He smiled.

Harper was torn, "Will you be safe?"

Mickey laughed, "She was a part of me for so long. She won't hurt me. Tell my mom I'll be there soon to see her."
