PHEROMONE BLOCKER

"You have yet to prepare rooms for our uncles. I also have things I have to do."

Frita laughed and slung his hand over his younger brother's shoulder. "You know, sometimes I wonder where you get all this seriousness from. It definitely doesn't come from mother. She is even more playful than all of us combined."

"Then it must be father." Edrey pushed Frita's hand off of his shoulder before walking to one of the corners of the room and plopping himself onto one of the beanbags that were there.

Once he was seated, he watched with mild curiosity as Frita sauntered up to the large travel case that hovered a few inches above his bed. There was a small bot, which was almost the size of Edrey's head, which was doing the unpacking of the clothes and other items that were in the bag.

Frita pressed a button at the top of the bot's head, and it stopped moving. After that, he moved a few items that were in the bag before finally taking out a small blue box. This, he threw over to Edrey before pressing the bot's button once more and leaving it to continue with the unpacking.

Edrey slightly shook the box. The item inside made a rattling noise. "Is this another mini bomb?" he raised his eyes as he asked that question.

Frita's eyes twitched after being asked that question. "What makes you think that I would place a bomb in a present that I am giving you?"

Edrey looked back down at the box before mumbling, "It wouldn't be the first time."

Still, despite his words, he still went ahead to open the box. Inside the box was a ring. The band of the ring was slender, and light silver in color. Edrey did not pick it up, and instead looked up at his brother, "Are you proposing to me right now? I mean, I understand I am quite good-looking, but we are siblings."

Frita's eye twitched, and he raised his hand to smack Edrey over the back of his head, "Do not be so foolish." He took the ring out from the box before roughly pushing it onto Edrey's finger. "It's more of a pheromone blocker more than anything."

Edrey raised his hand to look at the ring. Pheromone blockers were what allowed omegas to work in their society without having to worry that they would be attacked if their pheromones so much as leaked out. However, they could also be used by alphas when they wanted to slightly mask their pheromones. This was also to help omegas since they would not be influenced by pheromones that were already masked.

Although they were not quite effective seeing as they failed to completely mask a person's pheromones, they were still used since they helped mask more than half of it. The blockers were mostly perfumes for alphas, while most pheromone blockers for omegas were made into pads that they would stick to the backs of their necks.

"How does this work?" Edrey looked away from the ring and fixed his eyes on his older brother.

Frita smiled, "Well, it basically works the same way as a pheromone pad does, but it also has the qualities of a perfume pheromone blocker." He walked a few steps back, "Try to pour out your pheromones and see what happens."

Edrey slowly bobbed his head up and down before doing as he had been instructed. After a person differentiated into their secondary sex, they would immediately and instinctively learn how to control their pheromones. This was the same for Edrey, especially seeing as to control the ice ability passed down to him, he had to have perfect control over his pheromones, which was the main method of controlling any ability. He stood.

Once his pheromones had slowly poured out of his system, the temperature in the room dropped. Just as he was about to ask Frita what it is he was expecting, he felt the ring around his finger begin to heat up. He looked at the silver band which had slowly started turning red.

Then, he felt his body slowly start to warm up from his finger, all the way down to his toes. He felt calm, and the pheromones that were leaking out of his body were seemingly sucked into the ring.

Edrey took a step back, as a sudden bout of dizziness attacked him. He looked up at Frita. "Afrita." He called out.

Frita's eyes were shining as he walked up to his brother and held the hand with the ring. "It actually worked." A large smile pulled his lips up at the corner.

"At least with this, even if you are in heat, your pheromones will never go out of control." He continued to smile as he spoke. "But, I should probably warn you not to tell anyone that it is a pheromone blocker. It isn't out in public, and it won't be out in public. This was a personal project, so I only made one, for my cute little brother."

As Frita continued to babble a mile a minute, he walked back to the bed. This time, he did not stop the bot from working, as he picked up a small thin book from the bottom of his suitcase. "Here you go." He handed the book to Edrey. "I wrote down the instructions on how to use the ring in here."

Edrey accepted the book, and a soft smile lifted his lips up at the corners.

His family was always like this, doing little things that would make even a grown man cry. His parents, even though it wasn't easy, tried to understand him, seeing as he was an omega. They had even gone ahead to invest in omega protection. Edrey had even once or twice found them watching videos on how alpha parents should take care of omega children.

His older brother was much different from him. Unlike Edrey, who failed to speak openly with people he was not close to, Frita was much friendlier. The alpha male always had a smile on his face, and easily made friends. He was also the smarter one in the family. Despite his large body, he would sit down in laboratories and mess with little trinkets to make the life of his omega brother easier.

It was even thanks to him that the omega pheromone blocker was made.

He was different from Nawilla, who worked with mechas and knew every little thing about them. The bots he made were mostly household appliances. These he had begun making so that Edrey would use them whenever he was in heat.

He did all this in addition to being the heir to the White family. In fact, it was more of a hobby for him.

Edrey looked down at the ring once more, before tilting his neck back to look at Frita. His smile widened. "Thank you, Afrita."

A proud smile pulled Frita's lips up, "You don't have to thank me. It is the duty of an elder brother to take care of his little siblings." He patted his nose with his forefinger and averted his eyes before looking back at Edrey, "If you want to thank me so badly, you can give me a hug." He stretched out his hands expectantly.

Much like their younger brother, Teremie, Frita seemed to love contact with his brother. In fact, their whole family loved having some kind of contact. Marlyssa would fluff their hair, while their father would place his hands on their shoulders more often than not.

Teremie on the other hand would literally cling on Edrey.

Still, Edrey did not mind this side of his family.
