Arriving in Bovire

Dozens of NPCs and Players are using the Teleportation Gates and Platforms. All of them are heading to different places and doing different things.

My destination is The Town of Bovire and the Epic Grade Dungeon Insects Breeding Grounds near Bovire. Most of the trip can be covered in a single teleport, and for that, I'm grateful. I was not walking 250 miles.

Once I reach Bovire, I'll have a 30-mile walk to the Dungeon. Hence, once I reach Bovire, I'll be staying the night in an Inn and getting back at it the minute the sun rises in Libertas.

Being able to Sleep in-game makes it far more immersive, but I'll have to get off eventually to use the bathroom and eat solid food instead of what my gaming pod is giving me.

My attention falls on the disputes of more Players just about to get in the Teleportation Platform. Platforms transport large groups of Players. Gates transport one at a time.

"We're next! We've been waiting for 10 minutes! It's been long enough!!"

Teleportation Gates and Platforms are used too often. There is a wait time, which is strange given its instant travel.

I walk past and head for one of the Gates. Cutting in lines and getting cursed at, and before anyone can confront me or do something.

I hop into the Teleportation Gate and arrive at Bovire.

There aren't nearly as many Players and NPCs here. Kedwein is far larger than Bovire. A man walks up in fine robes and is holding a coin pouch.

"That'll be 3 Gold."

Not steep, so I hand the price over.

He heads back to his desk, and I head towards the nearest Inn. It's full of Players and NPCs having a good time.

Card games and drinking contests are going on, and as much fun it is to beat some people at cards. I'm not in the mood right now.

"What can I getcha?"

The second I arrive at the bar counter, a man pops up with a smile.

Despite the NPCs knowing we're Players, they don't treat us any differently than they would each other. It's pretty amazing what the system has created here in Libertas.

"A single room and room service."

He says it'll cost 7 Gold, and I hand over the money. He tosses me a key and tells me it's the room upstairs at the end of the hall.

I enter my room and head over toward the bed, laying down in it and staring at the ceiling. I've been doing so much so fast that I need a bit of downtown. And resting in a bed is the perfect way to do it.

"I should order some food... I'm pretty hungry..."

I reach over and pick up the menu. Placing my order, and its sent to the kitchen downstairs using the system.

I jolt up as I hear my own voice echo in my head... It's my voice, but not my voice... It's more monotonous and even...

"How are you able to speak with me? You're the Darkness, right? What's going on?"

There is no response, and this isn't the first time this has happened, and the other times it's happened, I've been just as confused.

After a few seconds of silence, I release a sigh and rub the back of my neck. I stand up and take a look out the window.

Players and NPCs are coming and going from the Inn. Some are dancing on the street and having fun, and others are heading home.

The ones coming are looking to get drunk after a hard day at work. It's an incredible sight to take in.

Bovire is a town that doesn't even have walls to protect it, and I find that strange, given that the Epic Grade Dungeon Insect Breeding Grounds is within 30 miles.

"That's something that I don't need to know, but I wouldn't mind knowing..."

The Loremaster in me is always looking for new information and things to learn. Knowledge is power, and I live by that.

As Darkness Incarnate, you have the most potential for power in Libertas. Plus 100 mana every player level up. Start with a 1000 base mana.

[First Mythical Class Wielder]

You're the first Mythical Class wielder in Libertas. 10% EXP gains for Player and Skill levels.

[Nor Good, Nor Evil]

The Darkness is considered neutral but is of the greatest power. All organizations of Good, Neutral, and Evil will not disrespect you openly.

[Mental Immunity]

Your mind is impenetrable to mental attacks and readings. All people who try to gaze into your mind will have to fight the Darkness to keep their sanity.

[Dark Vision]

You can see perfectly in total and complete darkness.

Lyatt Scott is the only person in all of Libertas to have a Mythical Grade Class. The Darkness Incarnate is a class of extreme power and potential, the strongest there is. As an Incarnate, Lyatt Scott is essentially the Darkness given form. He isn't evil, but he's not good either. The Darkness is the Darkness. It just is.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear an Uncommon Grade Dungeon solo.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear Rare Grade Greedy Goblins Dungeon and do it solo.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear Rare Grade dungeon The Crystalline Caves of Domeir and do it solo.

[The Crystalline Caves of Domeir]-A dungeon that holds an incredibly important alchemy ingredient. Rare in Grade.

[City of Cellera]-The main city in The Duchy of Ferzel and the home of Duke Renold Ferzel and his family.

[Duke Renold Ferzels Estate]-The estate of Duke Renold Ferzel and a location that holds Eloise. An important figure.

[The Eternal Flower Hills][Restricted Zone]-A Restricted Zone North of Kedwein. It houses powerful monsters and important Alchemy Ingredients. Restricted Zone adjusts its difficulty to challenge Players. Chances of Death are always High.

[James Bloat]-An odd old man that resides in Horris. You met him and solved one of his riddles to get a quest. You have since completed that quest.

[Sarah Relor]- A Goblin Expert and important NPC in getting access to the quest for the first attack on the Greedy Goblins Dungeon.

[Klein]-The lover of Sarah Relor that you rescued from certain death.

[Tesha Lacroix]-A famous alchemist that might teach you if you prove yourself. You are now the apprentice of Tesha Lacroix.

[Duke Renold Ferzel]-The Duke that's in charge of The Duchy of Ferzel. He's the father of Eloise. You are close friends with Duke Renold Ferzel after saving his daughter

[Delila Ferzel]-The wife of Duke Renold Ferzel and Daughter to The Relli family. She's the mother of Eloise. You are close friends with Delila Ferzel after saving her daughter.

[Eloise Ferzel]-The daughter of Duke Renold Ferzel and Delila Ferzel. You rescued her from her Curse. She's had her memories of you sealed, and no one knows she knows who you are.

Letter of Introduction to Duke Renold Ferzal-A Letter that'll allow you to talk to Duke Renold Ferzal without any inconvenience.

Upgrade Core-An Item that will raise any Skill by one level as long as it can be leveled up.

Poison Immunity Potion (Exotic Grade)- A powerful potion crafted by Tesha Lacroix to help you harvest The Maiden's Deceit Flower without dying.

Xelxolsis (Epic Grade Battle Axe)- A Weapon with 400 Attack and 200 Natural Defense. It has the unique ability to ignore armor on the third consecutive hit.
