The Legendary Man

Long ago, there was a legendary man. He fought countless men to the death until he was labelled the strongest in the world. Years later, the man was on his deathbed, surrounded by disciples and he said to them, "One of you, continue my legacy and become the strongest". And so, bad times began. The disciples were loose lipped and spread the word and so, many began pursuing a life similar to the man in hopes of becoming the strongest. About 200 years later, our 'hero' is born. He too wishes to become the strongest just like the others. This story follows his journey to becoming the strongest.

I really need a bath right now

"I have an idea" I said, "It will make us a lot of money".

"What is it?" Questioned Adae

"I have two now that I think about it, the first is we set up a shop where we can take anyone out for money, these people are rich and they might also be greedy" I said realising how dumb this was, "The second is we rob a house".

She paused to think then responded, "Let's rob a house, setting up a shop takes too long". I chuckled in my mind. Just when we had met she spoke of righteousness but now was contradicting herself, she was truly selfish.

We picked out a house and lifted cloths to cover our head except the eyes. The plan was for me to defend her in case the owners attacked us and she would rob the place. The home was eerily quiet except for the loud snores. The floorboards didn't creak and the doors didn't wheep so it was a simple task for her. We made our way to the direction of the snores and entered the bedroom. There laid a tall muscular man who had a strangely youthful face. Adae crept slowly, being mindful not to bump into anything in the dark. I stared at the man. He looked like he would bleed a lot. I wanted to see just how much though but I restrained myself. Adae turned back and nodded began to creep back but just as she was about to reach me, a dark shadow loomed behind her.

I drew my dagger and quickly leaped at him. He looked inexperienced so it would end easily. I slashed his neck and blood gushed out. It ran between the floorboards and through the door and went just over the first step of the staircase. We rushed out and ran as far from the house as possible. I took of my mask and asked, "How much did you get?".

"It's 250 ubokian coins, it should be well enough to buy a spot at a bathouse but let's not go now, if anyone finds a body we'll be suspected as we're foreigners who were out at the time of his death" She said.

"Then tommorow afternoon, anyways I'm going to sleep"

The next morning came and we decided to look around a bit. Adae could speak some Iroki which was the Ubokian language and asked around if anyone knew of the disciples descendant. However, nobody knew. The journey so far had been much more tedious than I'd expected and I really need a bath now.
