Having nowhere to sleep, Lander went towards where Grey was, created a bonfire and slept together.

Before the sun could finally peek at the mountains, Lander was already awake practicing his martial arts.

When the rays of the sun could finally be seen, Lander went towards the Academy. He was supposed to be excited but because of the events that happened yesterday, he was gloomy. Still, he has to move along with his plan to achieve his goal.

When the students cleaning the ground saw Lander, they moved away from him while one of the senior students moved towards him, "You have an hour to clean the manure of the beasts in the Beast Building before the classes starts."

Without saying anything, Lander just nodded and went towards the Beast Building as he started cleaning the manures of the beast why silently complained on his mind, 'Dang! This stinks!'

Haven't finished his work yet, he decided not to enter his first class, the Potion and Medicine Class. He believed that reading books could make up for it.

Finishing his work, he entered his second class, Archery Class being taught by Professor Finn. Lander was at the very back of the room. Not one student was willing to seat beside him, they all despised and loathed him. The class was finished with some basic informations about archery.

The next class was Forging and Tailoring, just like the Archery Class, it was mainly focused on introductions about their class and some history about tailoring and forging.

After three classes would be lunch break. And on the afternoon, the classes would be Magic, Beast and Swordsmanship being taught by Professor Willow, Professor Trainor and Professor Dimitri. After that would be the time for dinner and resting. But for Lander that would be his time to work again, sweeping the Archery, Swordsmanship and Mage Ground.

Having been in the class for the whole day, he kinda missed his childhood days when he was still studying. The difference was that, he was alone and no one wanted to talk to him. Even the professors wasn't giving him attention.

After finishing his work, he wasn't done yet as he moved towards the west area of the Academy, a distance away from Professor Willow's hut. There, he planned to build his own hut despite having no idea how to do it.

With Grey's help, Lander was able to acquire branches and stones that he could use. After hours of constructing his own mini hut, he was satisfied with the result although it was too shabby.

The next morning, Lander preceded with his work again. And as usual, Lander hasn't attended his first class.

Entering the Archery Class, Professor Finn told them to move out of the Archery Ground for demonstration and skill assessment.

As usual, no one wanted to be associated with him. Professor Finn showed his archery skills by firing his arrow at a dummy target's head leaving a large hole on it. Then their professor gave them each an ordinary bow and arrow, everyone familiarize themselves with it before one by one they showed their understanding of archery.

Lander was watching from a side and saw some capable students. Finally, it was his turn and he felt nervous as everyone's attention was him. He calmed himself down, although he has grasped the idea of archery, he has still need to do it to be able to comprehend it very well. As a first timer with no archery talent, he missed.

"This outcast acted like he was calm but he was actually no different than a blind eyed man!"

"This is obvious! Outcasts rely on sacrificing their kin just to hunt beasts so how could they know of archery?"

"This is really an insult to archery!"

Professor Finn coughed as everyone's attention was now on him, "Good, now I will give you the rest of the time to practice and tomorrow, we'll have to see your results again."

Lander was stretching his bow while thinking deeply when one of his classmates disturbed him, "Hey outcast, if you can beat me in archery then I can promise you one thing. But if you lost, then you'll be my slave!"

"Wow! You really wanted an outcast as a slave?"

"Despicable! Why an outcast when you can have elites as slaves when you become successful after you graduate?"

"Not interested," Lander said as he turned his back on the student.

"HAHAHAHAHA I pity you brother being rejected by an outcast!"

"He's not interested, what can you do?"

"This outcast doesn't respect you one bit, so what can you do brother?"

The students laughed and humiliated the student who asked Lander for a challenge. Not bearing the insults, the student suddenly stretched his bow with an arrow on it then fired it towards Lander, "I'll make your life miserable for the rest of your life!"

It was then when all of the students had a stupefied faces. Lander caught the arrow with ease. Then, he used it to fire at the student who shot him that made the student shiver but he was relieved as it didn't hit him but hit another student creating a sudden cry, "AAAAARGH!"

"My bad, my bad!" Lander apologized as he was embarrassed.

Professor Finn entered the scene upon hearing the scream of the student and saw the student who has an arrow pierced into his thigh, "What happened?"

One of the students explained the things that happened. Professor Finn gave a healing potion to the student and looked at Lander, "Haven't you had enough already? Injuring another student ever since you came here?"

Lander didn't say a word when Professor Finn looked at the other student who fired his arrow at him, "And you? Didn't I tell you to practice? And there you were challenging others, even firing your arrow?"

"I apolog..." The student bowed down to the professor as he was about to apologize when Professor Finn said, "The two of you won't be allowed to participate in our actual practice for 200 days!"

Lander didn't say anything as he left the archery ground. He went to his hut where Grey was currently staying and ordered Grey to find Lute and ask him to find a bow and three batches of arrows.

The Magic Class happened with only memorizing the basics of certain spells according to their liking. The Forging and Tailoring class was also about memorizing some stones and materials.

As for the Swords Class, Professor Dimitri told them to have a fair challenge, "Dueling is the best way to evaluate you people!"

"Now align yourself and find your opponent," He continued as he sat down on a chair on the Swords Ground.

The next moment, Professor Dimitri and Lander were both shocked. Everyone of the students aligned themselves facing Lander. There were even students claiming they were the first and some argued back.

"You can only be allowed to have one opponent," Professor Dimitri suddenly said when the arguments turned to a mess, a lot of shouting could be heard.

Suddenly, a senior student came in smiling evilly as he stared at Lander. Lander recognized the man, he was one of Crude's lackeys.

The student went to Professor Dimitri, "Vice-Head Professor, the medicine for healing your grandson was now available but you can't have it!"

"Why?" Professor Dimitri was alarmed upon learning he couldn't have it.

"I am willing to give it to you for free if you can give me what I wanted," The student was now smirking at Lander.

"Anything you wanted!" Professor sounded desperate. He could easily kill this student but he was afraid of his background and worst, his grandson would be implicated.

"I want Lander to a have a duel with everyone here!" The student smiled as he looked at Lander.

"Well, that...." Professor Dimitri hesitated. He very well knew that all students were disdainful towards Lander and the battle might get out of hand. Furthermore, there were 200 students there, Lander being the 201.

Professor Dimitri looked at Lander and sighed, turned towards Crude's lackey, "I guess I can't accept..."

But before he finished his words, Lander interrupted, "I agree!"

"What?" Professor Dimitri was stunned. The students were agitated clenching their fists as they could now have a way to crash Lander. Crude's lackey was grinning from ear to ear as he accomplished what he came for.

Their professor was looking at him with a face full of questions, "I don't want my conscience be apprehended with such trivial matters. If it comes down to fight, I'll fight!"

He wasn't doing this to save Professor Dimitri's grandson but he was doing it because he can't accept if the grandson would die knowing that he has a way to save him. He was even pleased that Professor Dimitri didn't use his status to force Lander, that's another point why he accepted the challenge.
