"Wow, I wasn't expecting to be your opponent," Longwei said.

"Well, let's do our best!" Jiao-Long replied.

They shook hands and went to the waiting area of designated for their sect and first fight of round one started.

"First Match, Disciple Xiao Ning of Ming Cult versus Disciple Feng Weyo of White Lotus Sect on arena 1!"

"Second Match, Disciple Dong Feng of Penglai Sect versus Disciple Feng Mei of Emei Sect on arena 2!"

"Third Match, Disciple Yi Bin of Diancang Sect versus Disciple Lu Xio of Beggars' Sect on arena 3!"

As the matches ended one by one, Jiao-Long was beginning to feel nervous. He wanted to be the Chief Disciple of Penglai. But he was thinking about the pressure that his clan is putting on him within his mind.

"Final match! Disciple Longwei of Penglai Sect versus Disciple Jiao-Long of Penglai Sect on arena 3!"

Everyone focused on this match as their talent was known throughout the land to be of no equal except for themselves. They were equal in everything just like a pair twins.

"Are those two the famous 'genius duo' of Penglai?" White Lotus's Sect Master asked from Master Rongrong, who was coincidentally sitting in the seat next to him.

"Yes, Longwei is from an average family while Jiao-Long is from Jiao clan. They are the ones helming the Raging Fire sect, a sect with quite a prestige among the first-class sects in the world." Elder Po answered instead of the Sect Master.

Other Sect Leaders eyed Longwei and Jiao-Long without bothering to hide the envy hidden in their eyes.

"Who will win this match?" Amazingly, this question was asked by the Sect Master of Beggars' Sect.

"Let's all wait and see." Master Rongrong answered calmly while the referee rang the bell for starting the match.

Everyone was amazed by the match between Longwei and Jiao-Long. On the final blow of their fight, both of them passed out due to draining their powers. After discussing it between the Sect leaders, the result of this match was decided to be a draw and both of them were allowed move to the next round.

After few hours passed, Jiao-Long and Longwei slowly woke up. The Elder in charge of medicine hall informed the Sect Leaders while the Core Disciples of Penglai sect who managed to pass the first round surrounded them.

"Ahh! Finally, you guys woke up!"

"Even Leaders of other sects praised your match!"

"If this continues, Sect Master Rongrong might have no choice but to elect both you as Chief Disciples."

"Is that Possible? It never happened in the history of the Sect, right?"

"Both of them are geniuses who are too similar in talent."

"If you're Sect Master, who would you choose?"

"Hmm, you have a point. But still, you guys were so great! I didn't even blink my eyes lest I miss as details of the duel!"

As the fellow disciples were discussing among them with vigor and zeal, Sect Master Rongrong arrived at the Medicine Hall, "Sect Master!"

Disciples knelt and paid respect.

"Next round of the Tournament begins tomorrow. Everyone who passed the first round go and get some rest. That includes both of you."

"Thank you, Sect Master!"

On the second day of the Tournament, out of hundred and twenty disciples who were at the first round, only sixty-one made it to the second round. "Welcome everyone to the second round if this tournament!" Elder Po announced the beginning of second round.

"As for the second round, you'll will be racing with your flying swords. There are many obstacles in your path. These obstacles can slow you down or even disqualify you from this round. The first twenty participants to reach Penglai will be moving forward to the next round. While the others will have to try their luck in the next tournament."

Elder Po gathered everyone to the starting line, and began explaining the route, "From Penglai, you will be climbing up the World tree and then have follow the Fairy River. Travel along the river until you encounter the Mirror Water. You must pass through it. Once you pass through it, you will be guided by a Flower fairy. They will guide you back to Penglai. The first twenty participants to arrive in Penglai will move forward to the next round. The round will start in ten minutes, I will give you time to prepare your Flying Swords."

While everyone is preparing, Jiao-Long's father approached him, "Son, here use this sword. This is one of the fastest swords in the world. If you use this sword, you are guaranteed to win this round."

"But father, this is cheating!"

"They didn't say you can't any take external help before the race started. Use this and win this round."

Jiao-Long's father stuffed the sword into his hands. He had to follow his father's order. Longwei also saw what happened, but he still approached Jiao-Long leisurely.

"Jiao-Long! Ahh, there you are! Are you ready?" Jiao-Long nodded his head nervously.

"Why are you nervous? This is the first time I'm seeing you nervous. Haha. You should prepare yourself. The round is almost about to start."

Longwei was about to head to the start line but, he stopped after walking a few steps and added "Oh! By the way, just be careful out there. Especially when you're going to fly. Afterall, it'll be the first time you're using that sword."

Jiao-Long was shocked after hearing those words. He knew that Longwei knew everything.
