Jealousy or madness?

Death is not bad at all. In my opinion, death is one of the gifts of God to human beings. But sudden death is often horrible, both for the person who died and those around him/her.

I was shocked to hear the news of Maggie's sudden death. Now, after seeing those scenes in Elika's mind, I understood why Maggie had forgotten everything.

Maggie witnessed Elika and Jonathan betraying her. Elika was a forensic pathologist.

Maggie was heartbroken. Maybe because she did not expect her husband with her best friend to betray her, Maggie decides to kill herself, even writing her suicide note, but realizing that she is pregnant, she chooses to divorce Jonathan and raise her child alone.

One day, when Maggie sends her suicide note and her farewell letter to her husband, she explains that she decided to kill herself but regrets it because she wants to give birth to her child, and then the letters accidentally reach Elika.

I saw all these horrible things in Elika's mind in a few moments. More frightening than the story itself was that Elika did not feel sorry or upset about it at all.

Elika had made her decision when she saw the letters. She called Maggie. She invited Maggie to a restaurant near Maggie and Jonathan's house. Maggie, who thought seeing Elika would make her feel better, accepted her invitation.

The two drink at the restaurant, and Maggie, who has a very low alcohol tolerance, get drunk quickly. Elika then insists on taking Maggie home. There Elika told Maggie that Elika and Jonathan are betraying her in that house.

Elika has told Maggie that she has been jealous of Maggie since the beginning and that jealousy has flared up since Jonathan proposed to Maggie.

I did not know how to explain this to Maggie; I wish she would remember.

Maggie is shocked to hear Elika's words and sat in a corner. Elika tells Maggie that she is a simple nurse from a low-income family who does not deserve this success.

She then uses Maggie's drunkenness and weakness as planned, injects her with the deadly drug, and sets the stage as if Maggie had committed suicide.

Elika, who has worked in forensic medicine and autopsy for many years, has quickly coped with this simulation. Even she dissected Maggie herself.

Elika had placed Maggie's suicide note above her, and Maggie died in oblivion due to drunkenness and the shock of her husband and best friend betrayal. For this reason, he does not remember anything.

I was afraid that when I tell her the secret of Maggie's death, she will become so angry and upset that she suddenly becomes an avenger spirit.

There has not much time left for her on earth, and she was getting weaker every moment. If Maggie became an evil spirit, no one but God could help her.

Ever since I got home and talked about murder, Maggie was sitting across from me, staring at me. Suddenly she got up and knelt in front of me and said, "Aiden, please tell me what did you understand? Elika really betrayed me? What did you mean by murder? Have they killed me?"

-"I'm afraid to tell you the story. If you get angry and try to harm the living, your soul will immediately become an evil spirit that can no longer cross the bridge of the Hereafter and forever. You will be imprisoned in hell, and you will suffer."

- "Aiden, did you know that I had a dream a few nights ago? I have never slept in these few times. Ghosts cannot sleep. But that day I fell asleep next to my mother, and I saw a garden. My father and daughter were waiting for me there. I was going to have a daughter who was very similar to my father. I want to go to that garden and join my daughter and father. Please help me. I promise you I will not be angry, and I will not do anything wrong."

I made my decision and told the story to Maggie. Unlike usual, Maggie did not cry at all. "So they killed my daughter too," she said only very calmly and without any emotion.

- "Maggie, you promised not to do something stupid!"

Suddenly Maggie was covered in a black halo, and her face changed. Without saying anything to me, he hurried out the window.

I should not have told her the story. I was scared and could not make the right decision.

I guessed Maggie went to see Jonathan and Elika. I took a taxi to the hospital. The head nurse told me that he left the hospital quickly after receiving a phone call and even canceled one of his surgeries.

I had a hard time finding his cell phone number and kept calling him. I had not used my cell phone for a long time, but Jonathan did not answer the phone.

I had not felt so weak and stressed for a long time. I did not find Elika either. Undoubtedly, Jonathan and Elika were among the worst and most evil humans I have ever known in my life, but I did not want Maggie to be hurt again because of those two people. Maggie once died for them, and now if she hurt them, she would destroy her soul.

I hurried to Maggie and Jonathan's house. Jonathan was not there either, and I was disappointed and set off. I suddenly heard a sound from the height of a nearby building. I raised my head and saw a person in the dark on top of an 8-story building. I could not tell correctly, but I was sure that one person was standing on the edge of the roof of that tall building and another was shouting.

I ran towards that building. That night the whole neighborhood was without electricity, and the night was darker than ever. Emergency electricity was not enough to light the building.

One by one, I opened the building's emergency stairwell doors, and I was afraid that the person I had seen would throw down himself before I could reach the roof.

I finally reached the roof. The door was half-open. Under the moonlight, I saw two people's clear faces, and I did not know what had happened that I could see the faces of the people clearly after years.
