Chapter 30 Are You Really Going Check?

Rory hummed as he went back to the hospital. He happened to bump right into Brice at the hospital entrance.

Originally, Brice was still in high spirits, waiting for a good show. However, when he saw Rory coming back with a relaxed expression on his face, Brice's mouth dropped open in shock.

"Dr. Reilly, what are you doing here?" Rory asked as he smiled and greeted Brice.

Brice smiled awkwardly and said, "Oh, it's nothing. Um, Rory, where did you go just now? Why—"

"Oh, Aya asked me to go to a hotel just now, telling me there was something she wanted to give me. But I hadn't even entered the room when I heard her getting it on with a few men inside, so I left at once, of course. I couldn't possibly interrupt her, right?" Rory quickly cut in before Brice could finish his sentence and shot him a smile.

"W-What?" Brice was really angry when he heard it.

Because he frowned when he said this, the bruises on his face started to hurt. He then let out an exclamation of pain.
