Chapter 0019:I Won’t Leave Your Side Anymore.

Time seemed to stop as Ariana was lost in the bewitching, eccentric blue eyes that belonged to the man that was her boyfriend, who couldn't stop staring at the woman in front of him either.

Both of them were lost in each other's gaze, and they couldn't pull away even if they wanted to. Without saying anything, neither had she heard his voice, his face alone had butterflies in her stomach.

Then did she know that it was going to be hard, really hard to keep her promise of not falling for this mysterious man, Alexander Knights.

God clearly took his time creating him, thick eyebrows that made her jealous of her own, his well sculpted face with his strong jaws, man!

She went on to access his face , and moved on to his pointed nose, down to his small soft pink lips that she wondered how it works feel against hers. His cheekbones, down to his neck that was covered in tattoos down to expose his hands that were as well covered in them too.

It had her fascinated and intrigued to know where else was tattooed on his body. His hey black hair was styled to perfectly, yet animist this heavenly creature that stood a few frets away from her. She couldn't help but notice the sadness that his eyes held, was it sadness or regret?

She wasn't able to figure it out, before she felt her body being pulled against a wall, no, a warm body that belonged to no one but him.

It all happened so fast that she wasn't able to know when he had moved away from the sunlight, that made him look like an Angel that graced earth, the only difference was that he had no wings.

He was an Angel with no wings..

"I have missed you, principessa(Princess)." Alexander says, holding his woman to his body as he inhaled her scent. He was very worried when he woke up to find himself in the hospital, without her in sight.

He has no idea what has happened that has landed him in here, but the first person that came to his mind was only one name, Selina White, his woman.

Ariana didn't hug him back, she was surprised and scared that she looked at Harry, from where she stood, but when he gave her the go ahead order with the nod of his head, it made her relax and know that things are going as they planned.

Does Alexander not see that she's a fake?

She thought.

The young lady was yanked out of her thought, when he pulled away from the hug, and instead cupped her face in his big hand, he tilted her head up to look into her eyes which had Ariana shy away immediately.

It was at that point that she knew how small she was compared to the giant that was holding her, he stood 6 '3 inches tall, and it made her self esteem dwindle the moment he looked into her eyes.

Her heart started beating fast, that she wondered if he noticed from how close they were to find out that she was nervous. What was he searching for?

Ofcourse, there's no way Harry could deceive someone like him?

He would find out that she's a liar and a fake, which she didn't want to think of the outcome of that happening .

As much as she was a bit attracted to him, she couldn't keep the thought at the back of her mind that warned her to run away from him, he was no ordinary man, he didn't look like the regular men that she meets everyday.

Most importantly, he didn't look like Andrew's type, he was more of her type. This was a real man standing in front of her, the power and dominance that exudes off him made it known to her, that he might as well be involved in the dirty lifestyle that Harry was involved in too.

Who are these men?

Ariana thought.

Meanwhile, Harry who figured out that this was going south, with the way Alexander was staring at Ariana, made it seem like he had already figured out what was going on.

No!

It was too early to do that.

Ariana didn't do anything yet for him to find out so soon, so, what could it be?

"Boss, I informed your grandfather that you are awake, i believe he's on his way here." Harry said, trying to interrupt the moment between both couples.

But Alexander ignored him as if he didn't hear what he said, but the strategy worked because Alexander broke away from looking deep into Ariana's soul.

He held her hand instead and brought her close to sit on the hospital bed with him, before taking her hands into his own.

"I apologized for keeping you worried all this while, I heard from Caleb that i was in a coma." He apologized to Ariana, making Harry's attention fully on them.

Alexander apologized?

He has never been the type to admit that he was wrong, to him, he was a perfectionist which was true. Alexander Knights, was created differently and it was known to him that he rarely showed his soft side to anyone, apart from Selina.

But looking at him and Ariana, Harry figured out that something has changed. He had no idea if that had to do with the part that he has amnesia, and totally forgot about the incident that has him here.

He recalled that while he was with Selina, he could barely express himself, as their relationship was strained with him being the one that fell hard for her, while all Selina did was to play with his heart.

Does he remember that part too?

Harry had no idea.

"It's okay, it's not like it's your fault that you are here." Ariana said to him, covering his hands with her own. She had no idea if she was allowed to do that, but whereas Harry didn't say anything about him hugging her, she knew that he wouldn't mind either.

"Unfortunately, I had no memories of what happened to me." Alexander said, standing up to face the window as he tried to recall anything that had happened in the past, but it was all a blank space.

Ariana didn't reply, instead she looked at Harry for an answer, afterall, he didn't say anything about him being in a hospital and him not remembering his accident.

Ariana had a lot of questions to ask, especially about where the real Selina was, but Harry had shunned her the first time she asked, so she knew to stay in her line.

"It was a car accident, sir. Thankfully, I took care of everything before it got leaked to the press." Harry came forward to speak on Ariana's behalf.

Alexander nodded at his words, before turning around to look at Ariana then at Harry. "And you couldn't take care of her? Has she been sleeping, she looks stressed." He attacked Harry.

"I apologize for that sir, she's been trying hard to adjust to things, it's my fault that i couldn't bring her to see you soon. I was simply avoiding any rumours about you getting out." Harry explained further.

"It's okay." Alexander told him, then turned to face Ariana with a smile, while coming close and pecked the back of her palm.

"Don't worry, I won't leave your side anymore, love." He said to her. A promise he intends on keeping but Ariana has no idea what exactly she has walked into.

All she did was smile at Alexander before hugging him, not knowing the right words to tell him apart from faking it to show him that she too missed him.

Great acting, Ariana."

She told herself, smiling at the thought of her ten billion dollars. She already knew from Harry's expression that she had passed the test.
