Haruto vs Kaori

Haruto and Kaori moved to a nearby empty field behind a mountain. They ran outside the city and flew secretly there. Right now they were facing each other with some distance.

"I never thought you're suddenly asking me to spar with you Haruto-kun."

'And it was during evening at that not to mention just the two of us right now.....' Kaori added in her thought but when she reached the end she suddenly gasped and blushed embarrassingly. A strange delusion like going on a date in the middle of the night after this, and then they decided to spend the night together inside a single room.... What the hell is she thinking!?

"?"

Haruto was bewildered seeing her shaking her head furiously while covering her face with her hands and blushing like a tomato.

"Well, we don't have much time or else the others would be worried so let's do this." He said.

"A-Ah~ Y-Yeah, you're right, let's...." She desperately calmed herself down by taking a breath deeply.

Before long her atmosphere turned solemn and her eyes became serious. Silver aura started to radiate around her body and her hair became silver while she summoned both her large swords on her hands.

Haruto too readied his stance and clenched his fist before he channeled his power inside his body.

"Haaaah!"

*BOOM*

A large golden aura burst out and in an instant his hair raised up and turned golden while his eyes turned green.

Haruto immediately went into Super Saiyan. His opponent was Shirasaki Kaori and he couldn't hold back or else he would suffer the consequences.

"So this is when he's serious... I remember him saying this form as Super...Saiyan? Fufufu let's see what he got then."

Kaori murmured seeing his transformation. She already saw him in this form when she just materialized but at that time he didn't let out his power so this was the first time she saw the true capabilities of his transformation.

Bending her waist and legs, she moved her right black sword behind while her white sword in front. She put force on her feet and dashed forward towards him.

"Haaa!"

She swiped her sword diagonally from right aiming for his torso. Haruto stepped back a little to dodge her slash but Kaori followed with another swung from the left horizontally after stepping forward to follow him.

Lowering his body Haruto evaded the attack while a little bit of his hair was cut. He counterattacked by releasing a heavy side kick to her stomach but Kaori jumped up and slashed her sword downwards.

Haruto rolled to the side and extended his palm to Kaori's direction. He fired three energy blasts aiming on her body.

"[Disintegration]!"

She slashed them with both of her swords glowing with silver aura. Haruto's attacks was dispersed in an instant into a particle of lights.

"That magic sure is cheating...."

He grumbled quietly from the spectacle. With her Disintegration any half-assed attacks would disappear immediately. Unless he used a powerful or large scale attacks to resist her Disintegration he wouldn't be able to damage her.

Still that didn't mean he's done yet, he also hadn't given out everything he got, though the same could be said on her.

Renewing his spirit he lowered his stance and charged aggressively this time. He spread his arms wide and prepared two Power Balls while still running. He leaped upwards and launched them against her.

Kaori tried to use Disintegration again but before her swords reach them Haruto clenched his fist and made them exploded.

*BOOM*

Smoke and dust scattered everywhere and Kaori swung her sword with her aura to disperse the smoke. She was surprised when Haruto was nowhere in sight.

"Over here!"

"What!?"

Without knowing he stealthily approached her back and unleashed a powerful straight punch with his right hand. Kaori turned her body and placed one of her sword against the fist just barely before it reached her side. But she got blown away from the force of the punch and sent flying.

Leaping up Haruto chased her by using flight. A trail of golden light was formed from his charge. He went above her and elbowed her downwards, crashing her to the ground.

"Itaa~, Haruto-kun you really didn't hold back against a girl, that really hurt you know?"

Kaori raised her body while rubbing her head from the impact. She protested to Haruto from his bruteness. But he snorted at her complain.

"Hmph say the person who really tried to kill me with her sword before just now. I can sense you're really trying to sever my neck you know? And what do you mean by hurt? You clearly parried my attack just now."

Just like he said Kaori was truly aiming to decapitate his head. Not because she hated him or anything like that but because holding back meant she was looking down on him so she attacked him seriously with the intent to kill.

Also during the last strike sending her crashing below, Kaori managed to raised her arm to block the attack so just like Haruto said, she's not injured. Dropping and crashing from that height did not matter much for her powerful body.

"Hehehe you got me. But this is just what you wanted right? You wanted to spar against me to challenge yourself after all~"

"Well it's not often I could have a fight against an opponent stronger than me without worrying of losing my life."

"Didn't you say I'm trying to kill you?"

"But you can just revived me back to life in an instant right? You really are a scary woman you know that? Even though you looked gentle usually but you're really ruthless when you're fighting no wonder you're a member of the Demon King's party in the original story...."

He remembered her to be a very kind and gentle person at the beginning of the story. She couldn't even bring herself to kill people but she tried to resolve herself for that in order to protect her friends. And overtime by travelling around with Hajime's party she was slowly influenced by them and now she could became merciless against her opponents if necessary. Not that it meant she didn't feel anything by killing though unlike Hajime or Yue who was already broken as a person because of their tragic circumstances but at least she didn't let that hinder her.

"I don't know about that, this me and that me are a different person but since I was based on Shirasaki Kaori's personality so I guess we're alike. And that me was travelling with a Demon King's party? I wonder how did that happen...." She shrugged her shoulders but at the same time felt amazed at her original self.

"That's true... So are you going to get serious yet? I think the tasting at each other period already over though."

"You're right then I'll start to get serious, are you ready Haruto-kun?"

He didn't answer her by his voice but he responded by putting on his stance, gesturing her to come.

"...[Godspeed]"

"!!"

A powerful impact hit his back and now he was the one sent crashing to the ground but with stronger force. He stood up while being a little dizzy from her attack.

Raising his head he saw Kaori spread her silver wings radiating with a beautiful silver aura. Her priest outfit also already disappeared and changed into her valkyrie armor. Looks like she's truly gone all out this time.

"[Disintegration]."

A flurry of countless feathers shot out from her wings aiming at Haruto. Each of the feather was glowing silver and he knew if he was hit directly by even one of them his life would he in danger.

Haruto desperately dodging the seemingly endless attacks, he suffered some grazes on his skin when he barely avoided the feathers. He put his hands on the ground and used energy attack to blast the ground, using it to defend against the flurry of the feathers.

"Fufu not bad Haruto-kun, then how about this?"

Haruto turned her gaze to Kaori and noticed her charging a silver energy. He let out cold sweats seeing that.

"Hey hey seriously?"

"Seriously hehehe~ Now, take this! [Disintegration]!!"

A sphere of silver light unleashed from her sword it was heading towards Haruto location. He couldn't afford to defend against the attack or else he would disintegrated instead. In that case....

*Fwip*

"Huh?"

Kaori suddenly missed her target and Haruto disappeared from the place, she frantically turned her body behind and she saw Haruto charging a Super Kamehameha against her.

"HAAA!"

A large blue energy beam travelled towards Kaori but she didn't faze and calmly extended her arms against it.

"[Heaven Interruption]"

In an instant five shields of light formed in front of her guarding against the energy beam. She channeled the [Disintegration] magic to the shields and they were slowly chipping out the Kamehameha wave.

The shield was broken through the fourth shield with the last finally succeeded on dispersing the attack. Haruto clicked his tongue seeing his attack was ineffective and during that Kaori once again activated [Godspeed].

This time Haruto could barely felt the incoming attack and managed to move his body to the side a little, preventing his arm from being severed by the slash but it still wounded his right shoulder and blood splurted out from it.

"Kuh.." He groaned from the damage but thankfully it was not that deep that his right arm became disabled.

"Amazing Haruto-kun, after seeing it once you managed to sense my attack. I'm starting to feel scary imagining the future of yourself...."

"Hehehe then I guess you should feel more surprise soon."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"You'll see..."

Haruto landed on the ground and relax his stance. Kaori was confused about what he's trying to do. She decided to watch and see since she was curious.

Clenching his fist Haruto started to sense the change on his body. In this fight he could finally reach a breakthrough in his proficiency with the Super Saiyan form, it was faster than he expected and he felt it was because he's fighting against Kaori, an opponent stronger than him and managed to hold himself against her.

He closed his eyes and could feel one of the 'locks' was finally opened like a key being inserted and turned around against it.

"Hehehe"

He grinned widely from the fact and since he didn't plan to lose easily on this fight he would immediately used the new strength sprouting inside his body.

"Haaaa...!"

His body tensed up and the ground around him started to fluctuate. Blood veins appeared on his forehead and his power started to increase sharply.

"Ggghhh..."

*Spark* *Spark*

Sparks of electricity appeared around his body and his hair started to turned rigid while his muscles was convulsing along with his surroundings.

"HAAAAAAA!"

*BOOOM*

A pillar of golden light rose up brighting up the surroundings, even Kaori had to close her eyes from the sheer brightness. A massive shockwave blown away the trees and rocks around the fields but Kaori stood in place, not affected by that.

The pillar of light died out while the smoke and dust cleared out revealing a figure clad in a fierce golden aura.

*Spark* *Spark*

Haruto stood there with the flaring golden aura now waving alongside bio-electricity around his body. His hair turned completely rigid and his eyes turned even more sharp and stern than before.

Kaori was stunned seeing his new transformation. She could feel the wind blowing violently from the fierceness of his golden aura.

"It's weird that your look didn't change that much but I can feel your power grown tremendously....What did you just do Haruto-kun?"

"Hehe, this form is the next level of the previous form, Super Saiyan 2."

The Ascended Super Saiyan form or what commonly called as Super Saiyan 2, Haruro finally unlock the form after mastering the first Super Saiyan form. He could feel power overflowing on his body, far different than he was before.

"Well then let's begin round two, Kaori!!"

He disappeared from the place and appeared in front of Kaori in an instant. Kaori was surprised seeing his new speed since it was completely different than before it's like his overall power just doubled. She used [Godspeed] to dodge his attacks but Haruto immediately followed through her movement and changed the trajectory of his attack.

He landed a roundhouse kick on her side and Kaori was pushed back a few meters away before he followed her and rained her with vicious combo attacks.

"Heyaah!!"

Kaori could barely defend against his attacks before Haruto managed to slip through once again, dealing a blow on her abdomen.

"Nngh..!" Kaori groaned from his punch.

Haruto unleashed a backflip kick, hitting her chin and sending her body upwards but using her wings Kaori steadied her stance and halt her body from being blown away. She charged her swords with [Disintegration] and released two silver energy slashes below her.

Flying backwards, Haruto avoided her attacks. Even if it's the current him, receiving her [Disintegration] was still too dangerous. Hell, he bet even Lumina would prefer to dodge instead of facing it directly with her body that's just how much of a trouble that magic was, capable of melting anything and everything.

But he guessed that Kaori would also need a very large amount of time and energy to melt Lumina based on her toughness by which the current Kaori could not afford to do so nor will Lumina allow her to melt her by standing in place.

"*pant* *pant* You're really amazing Haruto-kun, I never thought you were keeping this kind of hidden card. Why aren't you using it since the beginning?"

Kaori breathe heavily still suffering some pain from his attacks. She applied healing magic on her stomach and the pain began to disappear quickly. Haruto smiled wryly from her question.

"It's not like I was keeping it from you, I only able to use it just now. I have to mastered my first form in order to unlock this form and by fighting you I finally did it."

"Eeh, is that so, it's certainly something. Just how many more transformations do you have?" Kaori said with face fully impressed by now her injuries already fully healed.

"Well as for right now this is already the best I could do but if you asked how many more then I guess about three more?"

"Ah! it's what Okaa-san said, you're restricted isn't it? That's too bad, I really wish I could see your other forms though."

"Hahaha you will eventually so don't worry about it. But are you sure about that? I don't think you could withstand more than this though? Just an info but my other transformations, especially the last two are definitely incomparable than the other three."

"Really!? Then I guess I'll pass hehehe, I'm not a battle junkie after all. Really, Haruto-kun I'm getting afraid of you now maybe it wouldn't be too long before you could surpass Lumina-san." Kaori's eyes opened wide in shock hearing that.

"Hmm, I wonder about that I feel like she's much more than we think back then. Though maybe I could stand a chance if reach my full potential."

"...I guess you're right I feel an ominous feeling from her even though she's like that but that girl is definitely a dangerous person...." Kaori narrowed her eyes remembering the figure of the princess who appeared yesterday. But soon she shook her head from her thought.

"Well that's not important now. But still I don't feel like losing just like this that easily you know Haruto-kun."

"What?"

"[Limit Break]"

*BOOOM*

Now a massive silver aura burst out from Kaori's body it was similar to how Haruto transformed before. He shielded his face from the shockwave but inside his mind he felt like he just misheard of what she just said. And just like he thought, her powers spiked up three times stronger than before.

"K-Kaori you.. how did you..?" He was so shocked as if he couldn't believe what he's seeing.

"Hm? It's one of my Skills, [Limit Break] it increases my power by three times for some period of time."

"I know that! What I mean is why did you have that Skill? Your original self shouldn't possess that skill you know!?"

Only Hajime and that hero wannabe possessed the Skill. Hajime once made the artifact to allow his other companions and human army to use the Skill but Kaori obviously did not have the artifact so the Skill was naturally learnt by her.

"Even if you asked me why, I don't know myself I just born with this Skill." Kaori tilted her head from his question.

"...."

Could it be Eisha gave it to her? Seriously? Kaori already bugged the way she is and now she could multiply her power too? And if so could it be...

"Hey Kaori, I'm just asking but could you be have the [Supreme Break] Skill?"

"Yup, I have it, why?"

"Oh man..."

Now she's done it, she's definitely a monster because of Eisha. Just using [Limit Break] already tripled her power but with [Supreme Break] it was five times more!

And if she kept training like this alongside him and getting stronger wouldn't she keep up with him like this? At least even in the far future she would still be a powerful companion to fight with.

He began to rub his temples imagining that because of Eisha he must definitely ask her about this. But of course he also felt delighted since that means Kaori had received a massive upgrade from Eisha. It's just he hoped she would tell him about this beforehand, he just so shocked right now.

Just great, a monster with powerful apostle body and deadly magic now's capable of multiplying her strength. If he count her ability to recover almost instantly with her magic....

It made him feel headache just by imagining it, she's definitely bugged not a cheater anymore....

"Fufufu what's wrong Haruto-kun? Before you said it was round 2 is it? Then could it be right now is round 3~?"

"I think it's better to be called last round though...."

Even if he's able to use Super Saiyan 3 it's still not enough to beat her if she used [Supreme Break]. If it's like this he needed to at least become Super Saiyan God in order to finally defeat her. Even that would be troublesome with her cheat healing magic unless he could one-hit-KO her which is possible if he gone all out in that form.

But still that didn't mean he would back down. In front of such a powerful opponent, his Saiyan blood did not allow him to. Without knowing he began his lip began to form a smile. Kaori smiled wryly seeing that since she thought Haruto was a battle-junkie.

Just as he wanted to do a 'deathmatch' with Kaori, a distressed call from Elsie sounded in his head.

{It's Fia-san, we're being attacked!!}
