Bygone Era

We boarded the ship that will brings us back from the brink of death, this I hope will give us the chance to regain our forces. The Gjallarhorn, though created millenniums ago could diffenetly hold it is own againest any who wish to try, we carefully searched the ship for signs of life but I doubted that we would find any but it diffenetly will better to be safe then sorry. We came to the conclusion that it would be best to split up and divide our forces, their team went to the engine room and our team went towards the bridge.

Our path was lit with dim light which did show positive signs that the ship still had power and made the crew members of the "Defining Moment" less tense in current situation, Our team consisted of Rylanor, Delta, eight crew members from the ship which are here to help with bringing the systems back online and me, Rylanor spoke over vox while keeping the rear of our expedition safe from possible threats but yet to discover any signs of life let alone any threats, "Chapter Master?" We continued moving through the gray corridor, " Yes my brother?" Rylanor spoke with caution in his voice, " I sense that no life has walked these halls in several millennium but... I feel that we are being watched." I felt the same as if the shadows had eyes, " Brother keep a close eye, we may have uninvited guest aboard." We pushed forth into the dark as Delta took readings of the ship as we moved, his aim was to understand the ship more but right know he is trying to figure out if the hull had suffer any damage during it's time floating through the depths of space.

We started this boarding this mighty vesel at 0700 and only now we just reaching the bridge of the Gjallarhorn at about1900 because of the ship only have set to minimal power which forced all quick acess to other areas to be limited but later found that the atomsphere was breathable through Delta scans of ship's hull and finding that there was no damage, however Delta was very prepared to run off saying " This ship is a true gift of the Omnissiah greatness and finest craftsmen to have lived!" though I understand his excitement of this find but it would not be great to loss our only connection to the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Now standing in front of the golden doors to the bridge which showed a the majestic aquila with thunder bolts, 19 golden skulls which surrounded the aquila and the last touch was 18 banners that are evenly split on either side of the door. Delta, Rylanor, me and the crew members all stood in aw some of the crew began to pray and knelt infront of the door, power flooded the ship reawakening it's systems and a vox message immediately came after, " My Lord can you here me over?" I signaled to Delta to open the door and began to talk to the other team, " Yes Sergeant I can here you loud and clear, what do you have to report?" with quick responce, " My Lord beside the time it took to even find the main controll panel to turn on the power, we have found something that you might want to see." This peaked my interest for I know this ship must have a few secrets that have yet to seen, " What have you found Sergeant? Try and describie what you see." The Sergeant began to speck but struggled, " Si filius Imperat- By the Emperor! What is that! Kill it men for the Emp..." (communications disconnected) Fuck! " Delta are you able to locate the other party?" Delta worked a few seconds longer the disconnected from the screen, " Yes Chapter Master. There in segment of the ship called the Vault."
