The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER EIGHTY-TWO: UNCLE TARRAN AND AUNTY WEN

Charles walked away leaving Roderick fuming alone.

"Roderick wait, I know you're in a difficult situation but you can't rush things. Definitely we will help you to some percentage, but you can't force anything." Livia said.

"Am desperate, I want to be a free man and the only way to be free is to pay of the debt or eliminate that daughter of a bitch and kill the case."

Morning…

After standing the whole night and writing for the doctor's report, Cindy's whole body hurt. When the sun was up, she wanted to walk out and find a peaceful place to rest but tat's when her phone started ringing.

"dad!" she received the call.

"What the hell did you drag yourself into? The Casters might come to you. You took somebody's daughter out of the country and now…"

"Dad listen to me…"

"I called you, you're not the one who called. You'll do the listening…"

"Hello George!"

"What did you do to my ex-wife? Her whole family is on my neck. You'll pay for it."

"Hello, who is this new number?"

"Am Phil's brother. If she dies, you die."

Cindy Scott was almost running crazy and shouting to the doctors to open the door of the emergency room. The statement of Phil's brother got her scared. When the doctors pulled the stretcher out and towards the room, Cindy followed.

"Phil if you dare die, I swear I'll kill your soul a second time. To hell with everything. Spare me of a cruel death today. If I have to die, I'll go down with Naysa. I swear!"

"Who is that crazy girl?" the doctors looked at themselves.

The same morning found Naysa at Emerald castle. When she walked out, she noticed a new face and Tanner introduced himself. When asked where Hank was, no one knew.

"But today he is supposed to address the public as a political aspirant. I guess he might be back soon." Tanner said.

"Then you don't know who Hank is." Stenson replied.

"What do you mean I don't know? He has to change and get prepared." Tanner said.

"Hank is always prepared. So, you might be waiting here and he is at the stage already." Stenson said. At the same time, Marina and Samara walked in wearing a similar outfit of a red dress and black jackets. Their hairs hang freely on their backs. Same make up, same handbags. Naysa was surprised.

"What's not happening?" Naysa asked.

"Huh! What do you mean what's happening? Were you not informed on Uncle Tarran and Aunty Wen's engagement?" Samara asked first.

"Wait, what kind of a joke is that?" Naysa turned to look at Stenson.

"The reports came earlier but Jemmy requested us not to tell you."

Naysa was too annoyed she stormed into the house.

"Hey… wait…" Marina and Samara were left hanging and Stenson was left mouth wide open.

When Naysa and Jemmy came out of the house wearing matching outfits, no one would guess she actually threw a tantrum and Jemmy did the comforting and explaining why he hadn't told her bout it in the first place. They entered the car. Samara and Marina entered another car and the convoy left for the Haven's home.

HAVEN'S HOME…

It was a small party and no outsider was invited. It was the Havens and the Grants together with the guards.

When Frank saw the people he used to work with, he was too happy.

Inside the house, aunty Wen was in a room with the maids helping her get ready.

"Aunty…" Three girls stepped in and hugged her in turns.

"We'll help her. Leave everything for us." Naysa smiled at the maids who bowed politely and walked.

"Marina the last time we were here, I almost guessed there was something. The way uncle Tarran was looking at Aunty Wen…" Naysa said. Samara was already helping aunty Wen with her hair.

"Your uncle wanted everything kept in the da first." Aunty Wen said.

"Who are here?" Samara asked.

"No one except for you people and us."

Outside, uncle Tarran stood on the balcony waiting. He had been single for a while. All in all, Naysa was a lady of luck. Everything happened because of her. She caused all the positives.

Everyone from the Haven's company was to come.

Jemmy had been talking on phone and when he came to the backyard, Hank was there seated like all the pleasures in the world belonged to him.

"Is Larry coming?" Hank asked without greetings. Jemmy looked at him for a while before starting to walk away. "Wait, I had to address the whole nation but I had the meeting postponed. You think I can do that and still not reply to my question?"

"Hank I don't know much about your mental orientation but, you're weird." Jemmy said.

"As if you're mentally upright." Hank stood up and walked to his brother.

"Well, Larry will be here in less than twenty minutes. He wants some free time and decided to come." Jemmy said.

"From? If he dares stop in LA!"

"Will you shut up! You got a new first-hand man and never brought him. Yesterday, he would have been harmed."

"So, what's wrong with you beating him up? Is he not my right-hand man? He has to learn life the hard way and a little beating can do." Hank said. Jemmy simply curled his mouth and started walking away in time to hear the plane roaring.

Everyone arrived and the compound was full with the workers.

Aunty Wen who had still preserved her youth looked sparkling in her pure white dress. Her hair was tied neatly behind her, work of Samara. Uncle Tarran was in a blue Italian looking strong and healthy as ever. This wasn't a wedding, it was their engagement. Naysa sat in the front with her guitar as her song rang. Soft and lulling as ever.

The engagement were pure diamond…

After the engagement, the family went in and uncle Tarran and Aunty Wen met the Grants' lastborn, Larry Grant. The three brothers looked alike.

"welcome, am happy you're all here, and so happy you left all your important work to be here with us. also, I thank you for all the efforts you've done to us. To this point, we all know it's been your efforts to raise us from the ground." Uncle Tarran said.

When Marina came to greet Hank and Larry, she looked happy followed by Samara. After greeting Larry, she stood by Naysa's side. Naysa frowned when she looked at her. Marina was trembling…
