Chapter 2

I go back to my apartment after I done cry a lot about what happened to my boyfriend. I realized that my apartment is no longer being locked.

" Are mom is here?"

I opened the door and see the smile of beautiful old woman. But she is look still young.

" You already go home darling?" My mother walk closely to me. But she realized that my eyes is swollen. " Oh no what happened with your eyes?"

" I okay mom.."

" No I know you completely not okay. You are free to tell me what happened Luna."

" No I really okay mom.. Don't worry."

" Luna.. One time you say that you okay but actually I know you are not completely okay you know what will happened right?" My mother already prepared and have a belt in her hand.

" Okay.. Okay I will tell you.. Actually."

After that I telling every detail that happened with my mother. I begin to cry again in my mother chest. My mother try her best to comfort me, but I think that still not working.

" Mom, are you ever take a talent test before?"

" No, because when I was first move to this city I already more that 20 years old. Beside that time there still no rule about a talent test."

" So it all started because Profesor Redmond?"

" Yes.. He is the first one who make that test. That test decide people live inside of it. One you failed and you are being said that you don't have a talent , your life will be over . There is no where you can work."

I walked to the apartment window. I see the glittering tall buildings that what make this city beautiful. But still..

This is not a place or city of dream at all. This city and this world that being called Ether World.. Is not a good place for live.

" Mom can we just move back to our hometown?"

" I'm sorry dear, but we can't.. Because our hometown is already destroyed by a long snow and winter."

" How about if we go somewhere else beside this city. Somewhere only two of us.. I hope we can live in peace just two of us can we?"

My mother just stay quiet and I assumed that she didn't want to continue the conversation. And from that moment I feel like my heart begin frosting once more.

One week later...

I decide to try move on. Even so sometimes move on is really really hard. I keep remember when Xeon die right in front of my eyes. I still can't take away that memory from me.

But at least I can take away my mind from that because I feel pain because of diarrhea.

" Ukh.. Mom my stomach is really hurt.."

" Hah... You must be eating something wrong. So let's go to hospital then and have you being checked up."

" No.. If I go to hospital you will need to use a money just for me. I can't be a burden for you."

" No it's okay let's go."

In the end I don't have another choice except going to the hospital.

" I will go to register so please wait in here don't go anywhere." My mom leave me in the bench.

While waiting I see a young man who I guess the age is just like me. He has a blue eyes, as blue as a sky. But he looks so weak and thin. When walking suddenly that young man is falling.

I decide to help that man to get up again.

" Are you okay?" I ask that man.

" Yes i'm okay.. Thank you so much for your help."

" No problem."

" Uh.. Can I ask your name?" Said that man shyly.

" My name is Luna nice to meet you." I smiled.

" I see.. Luna right.. What a good name."

" Really? Thank you so much." I don't know why but I feel happy by his word. " What your name?"

" My name is Gilden Ro.."

" Gilden!" Someone call that young man. " You should be in your room right?"

" Ok then I will go back. I hope we will meet again Luna.. If fate is allowed us to meet again."

" Fate huh.. I don't think so.. But I hope. If that happens I will be happy to see you again to Gilden."
