After an hour of flight the limousine finally arrives into the Northern Mercenary outposts area where we get out of the car and head in the direction of where I last remember the location of Mission Control.
We got lucky as the limousine driver had let us off pretty close to Mission Control and we should only have about another hour of walking until we reach there, of course it will take longer since Sarah will be doing some street shopping along the way.
Right now it is mostly food stalls at the area we are at and Sarah try's some stuff here and there but nothing to big as she mainly wants to shop for interesting items. I'm also kinda interested to see what I can find in some street shops.
A few more minutes of walking we eventually end up in the area of regular street shops instead of food stalls. As I'm looking at the merchandise of the shops I notice most of it is weapons or bionic prosthetics for those who have lost limbs or other important body parts.
It seems Sarah took an interest in all the bionic prosthetic body parts as all the weapons stalls weapons are much lower technology then what I have aboard the ship. I never invested into the tech of bionic tech as I never planned on losing any limbs so I can't really tell if these are the latest technology or not.
Most of the arms and legs look like regular arms and legs other than the fact that they are much stronger and can transform into certain items such as weapons shields or even daily items such as brooms. Sarah herself seems interested in some of the bionic eyes as most of them had a lot of benefits.
I decide to quickly pull her away before she gets any extreme ideas in her head such as switching out real body parts for bionic body parts.
We next came across the oddity's section where the street shops are selling a many of different strange items. None of it really interested me but Sarah go sparkling eyes as soon as she noticed some of the weird yet cute animals being sold at one stall.
She seemed absolutely taken with a cat like animal. It looks just like a regular cat but with two tails and retractable spikes on its back. The merchant calls the species Cagonians, and this specific Cag is mostly black with some red streaks in its hair along its back as if it has racing stripes.
Sarah is absolutely smitten with the Cag and immediately looks at me wanting to buy it and keep it as a pet. Before purchasing it, i ask the Merchant on the details of its species.
"Well the Cagonians are mostly a lazy species that prefers to just laze around. The only time they ever get excited to do anything is when food is involved, they will eat almost anything and they will eat a lot of it. Other than that they have not special quirks as their only defensive measure is the retractable spikes on its back." The merchant informs us
"Alright we will buy it." I say as I hand over the amount specified on the sign in front.
The merchant immediately hands the Cag over to Sarah once he receives payment.
"Alright, you've already received something from this planet so we are now heading straight for Mission Control and no more shopping!" I tell her as I walk straight in the direction of where Mission Control is.
Sarah does not seem to far as she pets the Cag while we walk.
It doesn't take long for us to arrive at Mission Control which does not look very big but does look impressive with a it's gold and scarlet outline with many warrior statues lining the sidewalk to it. Many people would be confused at why such a busy building would not have any other floors going up but would then be surprised to know that it instead goes underground. The main reason is for foreign attacks and so no try's to skip out when they fucked up.
After all it's harder to attack a building that's underground instead of a building that goes up, and same thing with people trying to escape. They now can't jump out windows and have to go up the elevators to the first floor.
Well enough of that, I lead the way with Sarah following behind to enter into Mission Control to go and get an interesting mission.
