Intense Battle

Once the young Demon backed off and readied himself for the next clash, I also got into another sword stance. I bent my body downward into a defensive stance and had both of my swords put to the side in perpetration of a swing strike.

The young Demon tosses two globs of acid in my direction and charges forth in an attempt to quickly end my life so he can escape. I dodge the first acid glob and slice the second in half with my left sword while being my right straight across the front of my body to block off the attack from the Demons claws.

"You won't be able to end me with weak attacks like that, Demon!" I yell as I push my sword downward onto his claws.

Sadly my physical strength still can't compare to a Demon, and after he gets over his surprise he easily pushes me back with sheer strength.

The moment he pushed me off of him, I swung my left sword and barely missed his head while leaving a small bleeding wound on his cheek.

"Damnit!! I'm not gonna let you kill me, I'm gonna survive!!!" The young demon roars as he charges while madly swinging his claws and wildly slinging acid everywhere.

Even for me it is difficult to dodge all of the acid and have to let a few hit me in non-vital area such as my shoulders and legs. Luckily me gear is somewhat resistant and can take a few hits of acid before completely dissolving and going into my skin.

I bring both swords downward striking towards the top of his head, where he blocks with his claws and the moment he blocks, I kick him in the chest; throwing him backwards onto the ground.

I don't give him a moment of breathing room as I pounce toward him with my swords to strike while he is on the ground. The Demon uses his acid to burn the ground around him causing smoke to suffuse around us where he rolls out of danger leaving a few small holes in the floor.

He springs up from the ground and rushes at me with his claws extended outward in an attempt to skewer me with them. I block both attack and parry them off to the side, and attempt to stab him through the stomach. He jumps backwards to dodge and only the tip of the swords slight stab through leaving two small bloodied pricks on his stomach.

Without hesitation, the moment he jumped back; I stabbed my left sword into the ground and throw one of the sonic grenades in my left overcoat pocket. The grenade lands and rolls right next to the demons foot, and explodes sending some small shrapnel outward in all directions. Next the main function of the grenade starts which is the creation of a small sonic boom that immediately destroys the Demons eardrums and blows him backwards into the wall.

I was protected from the sound waves as my mask comes with insertable earplugs to block the sound and they retract immediately after the sound wave disappears.

I calmly walk over to where the Demon is laying slumped against the wall, grunting in pain. He looks at me with both fear and anger as he knows he cannot currently move in his current shape. I don't bother to speak to him as he won't be able to hear me with his ruptured ears, so I just stab both swords straight through the center of his neck. I then pull both swords in opposite directions of each other which tears his neck to shreds and his head falls freely into his lap with a face of utmost horror.

"Well that's one Demon closer to total annihilation of their race!" I declare to myself while laughing maniacally.

I leave the corpse where it is as I head back to get Sarah so we can return to our ship. Right before I leave I look back at the now destroyed mess hall, which is strewn with dead bodies that now have multiple acid burns on their bodies and the demolished furniture within the area. I sigh that those people died for nothing and the destruction our battle caused but at the same time I do not regret any of it.

I quickly find Sarah and without saying anything we return back to the ship and I tell ADP-01 to get us out of here before the other ship calls some kind of authority in the area.

I left everything to ADP and just went to my workshop to repair any and all damage on my equipment even if it was just slight because I can't have anything breaking when I need it.
