It was so quiet that a leaf was heard landing.

The whole school was baffled as Tedashii completely ignored Brittany and asked Leah instead.
"IS THAT PERSON EVEN HUMAN?!"
"HE JUST GAVE BRITTANY ZERO ATTENTION!!"
"THAT IS A MAN AMONG US…NO…A GOD!!!"
"Why is everyone so surprised?" Makoto asked.
"Do you know who that is?! Brittany, the most popular girl in the school! Every guy would die to talk to her!" Toru said.
"That's my sister, you know.." Tedd said as he approached Tedashii. "Oi! Redhead."
Tedashii turned back with a neutral expression. "Oh, you're that guy who has beef with Yuro. What do you-"
Out of nowhere, Tedd began to ruffle Tedashii's hair.
"!!! HEY! WHAT GIVES?!"
"We didn't get to introduce ourselves well. My name is Tedd, Motsubi Tedd. It's been a while since I've seen someone not simp on my sister."
Tedashii laid his guard down.
"Leah, is your sister?" Tedashii asked.
"WHAT?! NO! I meant Brittany…the one you just passed."
He looked behind Tedd and saw her still frozen. "Oh, her? I didn't even see her there."

Everyone was baffled once again by his response.
"S-So you didn't see her at all?!" Suno asked.
"Uh, yeah. I was coming to Leah…not her after all."

The bell split the whole school apart, as they all had something to talk about: Tedashii's ultimate ignorance of Brittany.
"Oh damn, the bell caught us. Well, I'll see you later, Tedashii." Tedd said before he bumped into someone behind him.
THUD!!
"Ouch!"
"OH crap, I'm soooorry…."
He helped her up and froze while holding her hand.
"It's okay, Tedd, I'm fine."
Tedashii stared at them both as they shared eye contact.
"…Tedd?"
He did not respond until Tedashii waved his hands in front of his face.
"HUH?!"
"You spaced out! Don't you know me?" she asked.
He stutteringly tried to respond: "Jeez, you don't even know my name. Sigh…I am Konami Katsuno, your teammate."
"Oh...R-Right! The girl Gale introduced the school to earlier on, right?! Yeah, I knew that!"
Tedashii just laughed at him. "Wow, this is a new side of you I've not seen before."
Konami shrugged her shoulder and turned to him. "Could you please leave us alone? I want to talk to my teammate..."
Tedashii stopped in his laughter when she said that and decided to walk away from them.
"Alright, now that he's gone, we have a mission."
"M-Mission?"
"Gale Wind called me to tell you he's waiting for you and me at a certain location."
She took out her phone and showed him the coordinates.
"Oh, but why not call the whole guild then?"
"I don't know, but if that's what he's asking for, let's do so." Konami turned around and clenched her fist. "It's been a dream of mine to become a Last Hero one day, and I won't let anyone or anything slow me down."
Off she sprinted ahead of him, and he followed.

Tedashii returned to the classroom, and everyone stopped what they were doing and began to clap for him.
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
"!!! What's all this about?!"
"You've become quite popular in the school. You're the first guy ever to reject Brittany. Look, they even made a frame for you on the wall!"
He turned and saw an anonymous picture they had taken of him sneezing.
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU PUT THAT PICTURE ON?!"
"Well… you're popular but new, and you don't have a social account. So this is the only picture we had of you."
"Well, TAKE IT DOWN! That's not how I want to be remembered!"
Tedashii began weeping right before Brittany entered the class again. They all gasped as she approached Tedashii again. She sat beside him and began flickering her hair, but he still did not pay attention.
("Tch! This is not working for you, huh? Let's see how long you're going to keep ignoring me.")
"Oh, you're the girl from earlier." He said.
She glared at him with disgust. "Why aren't you attracted to me?"
"I don't know, maybe because we just met. And besides, why do you want me to notice you so badly?"
She then smiled and held his hand. "It's because...Tedashii, from now on. YOU are my boyfriend.

Gale was standing with Eon at their cafe.
"…So, when exactly are we doing this mission?" Eon asked.
"Wait a bit. I need to think."
"Think? But you said it was urgent!"
"You thought it was urgent; just give me a minute-"
Eon began fidgeting with his glasses and turned his back to Gale. Not caring at all, he closed his eyes and found himself in a dark blue space with no ground.

A voice called him up as he looked around.
