"Hard to believe," Tristan scoffed in derision. "That guy has been like that all his life and though I appreciate you seeing the good in everybody since it is one of the things I like about you, he is a lost cause." He met her gaze and she was beaming.

"See? Months ago you didn't share the opinion of me that you share now so you see he would come along." She met his gaze as she moved to the edge of the bed where he sat. "Even the Devil.."
