Him

He opened the door to find her standing there crying. Instantly he drew her into his arms and ushered her inside.

"Sit here, Thea." Jungkook sat her on the sofa, and motioned for Jimin, who had come to see what the matter was, not to speak. He held her hand until her tears had subsided somewhat, and asked her what had her so distraught.

"I don't know. I've just been so stressed out lately, and I guess things just started piling up until I couldn't handle them anymore. " She tried to explain as best she could, except there was one thing she could never mention to them; her powers. They were the cause of all of her problems.

They had become much harder to control as of late, and even now she was trying to keep a tight hold on them.

Silence overtook the three of them, and the males stayed by her side until she was calmer. And then a figure entered through the living room door, mussing his bed hair as he did.

"Ah right, Thea, you haven't met our new roommate yet, have you?" Jungkook stood up and introduced the new guy as Jung Hoseok.

"You can call me JHope." He shook her hand and shot her a sunny smile, that warmed her heart.

A spark shot through their palms and they both released their hands. JHope stepped back and stared at his hand incredulously.

"You... You are..." He looked at her with wide-eyes and blanched when a small hand clamped over his mouth.

"Ahah it looks like this guy needs some coffee... ahah... I'll take him to get some." Thea made a lame excuse and dragged him out off the house.

"So spill, who are you? Are you one of them guys my mother warned me about? The ones who'll take me away if I'm found out." Thea whisper-shouted when they were at a safe distance away from anyone's earshot.

"Of course not!" The guy looked offended at her even insinuating that she was one of the bad guys. He was all too familiar with who she was talking about, having dealt with them before.

"I'm just like you. I have powers and have never told anyone. Honestly, I thought I was the only one. My father said that I'm the only male with powers left." He held out his hand and flames danced on his palm. "I never knew that there was a female with powers like mine."

"How do you know they're like yours?" She watched the flames on his palm and suppressed the urge to release her own.

His arm shot out and grabbed her hand.

"I felt it when our hands touched," he slipped his hand into hers, "can't you feel it too?"

A surge of power linked their hands together, and Thea felt a rush that she had never experienced before.

"So I'm not alone?" She fell to the ground, breaking out in sobs. "I'm not alone."

"No, Thea. You're not alone."

"You never walk alone."
