As Absolute looked up, the hulking behemoth known as Cerberus grabbed him by the face and launched him in an arc over the battlefield, making him face-planting a mile away.
"C-Cerberus?"
"I am here master, I brought help." The large Guardian pointed to the Dwarven Army and following behind them, was Gardos, Scarecrow and the entire remnant of the Guardian Legion. They were born and bred for combat, all of them, extremely pissed, all in their combat form ready to assist. "Heads up Wilderness.... Reinforcements have arrived." Said Fog to the Wilderness fighters using his telepathy skill. With a metallic screech from Gardos, the Guardians rush out of the front gate, leaping over the Wilderness troops, and began eviscerating the forces of the Holy Kingdom and the Wintersbane Empire. Gardos stepped to his old friend. "The Dwarves sent 20,000 foot soldiers to aid you. We happened to cross paths as we made our way here, but there is no time for stories. We have evil do defeat!"
Gardos healed Polaris's wounds with one of his hands. Each bleeding wound was cauterized by Gardo's glowing orange palm. Once he'd sealed Polaris's wounds, they all marched back onto the battlefield where the screams and pleas for mercy could be heard ringing across the stretch of land. While all of this had been happening, Atrocity had been locked in a stalemate with Antarctica.
"Getting tired old man? I thought you were the most feared being in all the lands." Atrocity chuckled before slashing open Antarctica's chest. "Face it kid, you'll never best me, and you'll never beat Polaris. End of story." At the mention of Polaris's name, Antarctica swell with rage, he unleashed his full power on Atrocity. For a moment it seemed Atrocity was tanking each of Antarctica's blows, but with one well-powered punch, Atrocity was flung backwards, hurdling past past Cerberus, slamming into a tree. As Cerberus marches up to Antarctica, the White-Death tried to steal his nerves but was interrupted by an audible yell of rage. After the yell stopped, the soldiers of Wintersbane died instantly, their grey-colored souls disappeared and began hovering over Absolute. Then, the souls of the devoted followers and priests of the Holy Kingdom ascended from their bodies and began hovering over the Pope. The two tyrants, Absolute and the Pope, grinned as they both took in vast amount souls.
"That's..... not good." Said Archimedes helping Bel and Blaze get Powerdrive inside the city. The two marched towards Polaris. "Father.. our own men? WHY?"
Absolute stopped the Pope, then walks over to Antarctica and plunges his fist through his son's chest. "Because you were too fucking weak. That is my final lesson, you worthless sack of shit. Die in the same way you came to me, crying, begging for me to return."
Absolute rips his hand out of his son's chest but find himself on the receiving end of a fist. He shifts his eyes over to see Antarctica's fist. He starts laughing, the goes silent. "Please." With a solid punch, Absolute send Antarctica flying across the battlefield.
"Gardos, go check on my brother. Patch his wounds, he deserves that much at least."
"Master, fighting the Pope and Absolute in your current state...."
"I'll be fine, just go help him."
"As you command."
Polaris looks to Cerberus and Scarecrow, then to the other heroes still standing. "Recall our troops, I'll handle these two."
"Polaris... that's suicide! Don't do this."
"Nobody else can. Fog, be ready when I call to you."
"As you command Master Polaris."
As Fog amasses bones to his body, Polaris marches out to face his father and the Pope. As he does, the three celestial ghost try to reason with him, he just simply waves them off. "Trust me. I have a plan." As Polaris made his way to them, they unleashed their auras. Absolute grinned. "MIND CONTROL 9th TIER!" Polaris let's the spell hit him, and simply shrugs it off. "But... how! That's 9th tier magic! WHAT THE HELL!" Yelled Absolute, clearly frustrated.
"I knew you had the spell Mind Control, so I took the liberty of making sure to nullify both that spell and your compulsion skill for everyone within Initiative City and the Wilderness Initiative. Archimedes is has barriers to also protect everyone within those walls. You both have no choice but to face me head on if you want to conquer Wilderness." Polaris immediately fired several solar flare at both of them cutting off their chance to speak, then rushed the Pope.
The three fight like no other, Polaris is holding his own against them, throwing half of his power into each punch. Back within the city, Blaze and the other heroes were watching the fight. However, things weren't adding up for Blaze. "Archimedes, I don't understand. Polaris was getting wrecked by Absolute earlier, but how is it now that he's tanking those kind of hits?"
"Maybe he wasn't taking it seriously? I'm not sure Blaze."
"I can shed some light on the subject." Started Fog, "Polaris was born a Celestial yes, but most of you have no idea he has the powers of three other celestials."
"Wait.... what does that mean?"
"Normally a star will come down to the planet and live life as we do, but in this case, Polaris has his own soul and is not bodily tethered to the soul of the Star Polaris. He happens to contain the souls of the other three but they too aren't bodily attached to him. At birth, I determined he had a.... unique power. When used, Polaris can take an insane amount of damage without so much as a drop of blood being spilt. However, his life essence takes the blows."
"Why would he do that?!"
"Because, Polaris isn't his star, rather an extension of it. Therefore...."
"His life force goes down, but he can't die..."
"Exactly and with that trade, he can..."
Fog was interrupted by blinding flash. Looking over hoping to see Polaris standing victorious, he became mortified. The Pope has sacrificed himself, mind, body and soul, and given his power and mass to Absolute in the hopes of seeing this nation reduced to rubble.
"Now that's better. I'm finally whole again." Said Absolute in a dual-tone voice. Polaris was no longer on offense, he was defending himself from the onslaught of attacks. "F-FOG! NOW!"
Without hesitation, Fog revealed his super-skeleton form and locked arms with Absolute. "Run! Hurry Polaris!"
Polaris limp-ran into the city, just inside the gates. Polaris began compressing all of that damage as Archimedes put the armor Fog had told him to put on Polaris. It was lightweight, it wasn't meant to take damage, rather deal it.
Meanwhile, Fog was taking a beating. "Ya know Fog, I never understood why you and your family served me and mine, but I will say, executing your father, was by far the best and most satisfying choice I ever made." Spoke Absolute in his dual-toned voice through a demonic smirk.
"You have no right to speak his name! MY FATHER WAS A GOOD MAN!" Fog raised is fist to slug Absolute.....
Polaris rushed back to the front gate to witness, the raw power his father had. With a single overclocked punch, Fog exploded into bone dust. All of Wilderness watch Fog's body explode into nothing. Everyone was in disbelief
"...no....NO! NO! FOG NO!" Yelled Polaris looking at where Fog used to be.
"What the hell are you yelling for? Fog was weak, a pathetic excuse for a person and didn't belong in my world." Grinned Absolute, cracking his knuckles. "Maybe I should turn Belvidere into a blood mist to so you can finally understand your place IN MY FUCKING WORLD!" Said Absolute. His hair, body, and fists were covered in a steaming layer of "zero-frost", ensuring each punch as chilling the molecules of his enemies to their cores.
The Heroes of Wilderness were beyond pissed at Absolute's remarks, they were ready to rush this monster of man when the ground began to shake violently. The sun vanished from the sky as did the stars, replaced by a dark red hue that cover the globe. Bel, Archimedes and Gardos all turned around to see Polaris. His eyes were black, his aura was a deep crimson, the chestplate that Archimedes and the dwarven craftsmen had put on him disintegrated, and the aura energy coming off of him was black. As he levitated into the air above Initiative City, above Absolute, black lightning arced off of him destroying anything it touched.
All of his allies, friends, hell even the whole civilized world watched him in fear. With a swift wave of his hand, everyone fell silent. He opened his mouth to speak, but rather than just his voice, it seemed as if all of the heavens, every single one of the stars, moons and celestial bodies that populated the sky spoke with and through him. In a bone chilling, heart-stopping, constitution breaking, multi-toned voice, they spoke in perfect unison:
"BACK OFF!..... ABSOLUTE WINTERS... YOU SHALL BE JUDGED AND EXECUTED BY THE ENTIRETY OF THE HEAVENS... YOU ARE OURS TO KILL."
