CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

Janet groaned, she felt so weak that her body felt numb. She couldn’t quite recall exactly what happened. She tried again and discovered her body had started responding. She was regaining her strength slowly. "Are you alright?" She heard a voice ask. It was definitely Maggie, she was grateful she was still okay.

"Aside from the headache I think I made it" Janet replied. She struggled to her feet as Maggie helped her. "What happened?" She asked.

"What happened?" Maggie replied, "you teleported us here Janet, you opened a freaking portal and brought us thousand of miles from Atlanta I mean what the heck!. Where the hell did you get powers from? How did you do that?"

"I don’t know" Janet said, "I got so scared I didn’t know how it happened but it just came. I had no idea I could do anything like that. What of Martin?"

"I don’t know" Maggie replied, "maybe he’s still kicking asses over there. We have to find a way to get back, we have to help him."
