"Annalise! About time you brought my daughter here," Phillip said, glaring at Rafael as he was the one to ruin their plans.

Phillip spent the day putting together the decorations for Annalise's proposal only to hear that Rafael had set up somewhere else. It was already too late for him to change Rafael's mind and Phillip didn't want to be rude by showing up.

It was a surprise for him to see Annalise and Rafael already since he thought they would want to be alone. Phillip was getting ready to put away everything he prepared when Annalise and Rafael showed up right in time to stop him.

"I am engaged, father," Annalise said, showing her ring even though her father might have seen it already. She felt the need to show it to everyone she would come across between now and the wedding.

"Congratulations," Phillip said, pulling in Annalise for a hug. "I wish you a lifetime of happiness with him."
