Doubt (3)

Rafael couldn't disagree with her as the compliment in the midst of their conversation did distract him and now her foot was free. It wasn't the best idea to fight against the woman he was trying to deny having feelings for since the smallest little thing distracted him. He did what he scolded his knights for doing when women walked by.

She was much better at this than he imagined. There were many questions he needed answered about her father and where he learned to fight.

"What is the name of your father?" Rafael asked, blocking another one of her attacks she thought she could get in while he was lost in his thoughts.

'And now the fun must end,' Annalise thought.

She loosened her grip on the sword and as she tried to strike him again, she let it fly out of her hands.

"It seems I have lost," Annalise said, stepping back so she could not be hit by the second blow he was ready to send. "I am no match for you."
