Edit A/N: Oks for those who are wondering who the fuck is Layla (my oc), it will later on be explained... though, before you reach that point, you would already be spamming this fanfic with shit (please dont, else i'll be a sad boi and it'll be harder for me to write this shit).

Chapter 5:

I woke up in the morning at the bed beside Layla who's still asleep but have a smile on her face, seeing this I kissed her and went to the drawer to put on some clothes afterwards went to the kitchen preparing some ingredients to make breakfast,

Fried rice with egg and hotdogs it is… It's a bit depressing that I don't know any good recipes even if I lived for centuries now, what a drag.

…

Couple of minutes passed and I was tasting it if it was good or not,

"Umu umu, this is good! As expected of myself"

And a pair of hands hugged me from behind,

"Morning Layla" I said with a warm smile.

"Morning my dear husband~ Oh! You're actually cooking! Great job Hon!"

She said enthusiastically with a smile as I nodded,

"Honkizaru come out now, Layla would want to see you probably."

"Honk! Honk!" A vortex appeared showing the mighty duck posing in a bizarre way,

"Honkizaru! It's been a while I missed you!"

"Honk!"

"Honkizaru your food is over there" I pointed towards the duck feeder 3000 which is a result of my ingenious mind.

"Honk!"

The duck moved towards the feeder while me and Layla were left at the table,

"Layla, I'm sorry for leaving you here for the past 7 years… If-"

"No don't, I know what you're up to there in the world so no need to explain, I understand."

"But I-"

"No buts, after all a wife shouldn't doubt her husband."

Haaa… troublesome woman. I wanted to explain things to her, but she already knew most of it, as expected from another God Slayer and my lovely wife.

In terms of magical talent, she surpassed me by a large, large margin, my only go to element was Time, though that doesn't mean I haven't mastered the others,

"Speaking of which Julius, is your luck alright now? I watched the beatdown you did to Kokabiel, supposedly you should've arrived there much earlier to save those kids, what happened?"

"Would you believe me if a black cat suddenly transformed into a Hydra? And attacked me on the way?"

"Ohh, so that's why I didn't see you in my grimoire for a moment there. So, who's the one to cause that?"

"Some fools who were trying to make me join a brigade, I just erased them since they attacked first."

Layla nodded at my explanation seeing previously on one of my lives I fought a beast that wants genocide of the human race… I couldn't let it happen because of pity, I protected humanity from the 'major' threats of the supernatural but apart from that it's their fault if they died due to their hands. The fate of Humanity will always be the 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲… 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘭.

"Earth to Julius? Hello?"

"Oh sorry, I was lost in thought."

"Something wrong?" Layla asked me which I reply,

"It's nothing." I shook my head after which I snapped my fingers, appeared, and floated in front of me which she grabbed,

"What's this?"

"Some pictures of the new land points in Japan and some souvenirs"

"Oh, wow you actually remember it" She said with a shocked face,

"Woi, my memory is not an old man's"

I deadpanned, She snickered then opened the box which is filled with some items that I bought and by the use of magic she made it float at our shelf filled with pictures and things. I proceeded to eat my meal as Layla did as well having a big smile on her face, I smiled seeing her like this.

I'm finally back home.

The peace conference arc chapters have the longest amount of words and juicy shit... so yea.
