Chapter 29: Entering the Bureau

Nangang, Development Zone, Public Security Bureau.

"Are you saying, he jumped out of the van that hit him, then another car rushed at him, but he leaped onto it while it was moving too quickly, smashed the window with a fist, dragged out the driver and beat him up. Finally, he took down five or six weapon-wielding thugs barehanded, in less than a minute?"

Xia Xue asked an eyewitness with a steady gaze.

The eyewitness nodded.

Xia Xue turned and asked a few policemen behind her, "Do you think what he said is credible? Does it make logical sense?"

The policemen collectively shook their heads.

The eyewitness murmured uncertainly, "Maybe I was hallucinating! And, it was dark out, I didn't see very clearly. Everything happened so fast."

With a nod, Xia Xue left the interrogation room with a group of policemen.

A policeman asked her, "Sister Xia, what should we do?"

Xia Xue glanced at him and said, "Staged accidents, attempted murder. What do you think we should do?"
