The Revelation

Park Taeri and her newly proposed fiancé had eagerly anticipated their upcoming vacation. They had chosen a luxurious hotel situated on the breathtaking coastline of a picturesque island in Malaysia. Her fiancé had left no stone unturned, sparing no expense, all to demonstrate his deep love for her. Taeri was already overjoyed by the prospect of this trip, but little did she know that her happiness would only grow during their stay in this island paradise.

The trip to Malaysia had truly been a dream come true for Park Taeri. With pristine beaches, a luxurious hotel, and her fiancé's unwavering love, it felt like a paradise on Earth. With first-class tickets in hand, they embarked on their journey to this extravagant and luxurious trip. As they landed in Malaysia, a sleek limousine was there to greet them, ready to whisk them away to their next adventure. The island beckoned, and in no time, they found themselves in yet another limousine, heading to one of the area's most opulent hotels. Their room, located on the 25th floor with a breathtaking view of the sea, left them in awe. The attention to detail and the care he had put into planning every aspect of their trip was truly commendable, making the experience even more magical for Park Taeri.

Their days in Malaysia were filled with enchanting experiences. Her fiancé took her to the finest restaurants, treating her to exclusive spa services and the most delicious food she had ever tasted. The hot springs provided another delightful escape, washing away her worries as she relaxed in their soothing waters. They explored the island through mountain climbing, hiking, and visits to all the local sights, creating memories that would last a lifetime. 

And on top of a majestic mountain, with the backdrop of a mesmerizing sunset and the sea stretching to the horizon, he knelt once more, proposing to her again, this time asking for her hand in marriage officially. Overwhelmed with excitement, she could only say "yes" in an instant, her heart filled with joy and the promise of a bright future together.

To celebrate their union, they ventured to a nearby nightclub, dancing the night away till dusk turned to dawn. Hand in hand, they returned to their hotel. Exhausted, he fell into a deep slumber, while she decided to seize the day and treat herself to breakfast. The hotel's restaurant provided a serene atmosphere, where she could enjoy her meal with a stunning view of the sea. She finally felt peace at heart and she loved every moment of it.

However, her tranquillity was abruptly shattered by the sound of screams and people frantically fleeing the hotel. Panic set in as she was left in the dark about what was happening. A staff member approached her and, with fear in their eyes, explained that a serial killer was on the loose and that the perpetrator was currently inside the hotel. They urged her to join the evacuation.

In a rush of fear, Park Taeri joined the fleeing guests and staff as panic engulfed the hotel. However, as they reached the hotel's entrance, a horrifying realization struck her – her fiancé was still in their room, soundly asleep. Without a second thought, she dashed back to their room, her heart pounding with dread. She knocked on the door, her voice quivering as she called out his name, but there was no response.

Dreadful thoughts clouded her mind – what if the killer had taken him? What if, in the worst-case scenario, he had met a tragic end? Her mind raced through all these terrifying possibilities. Amidst the chaos and fear, she remembered the card key she had in her hand, a lifeline that might unlock answers or horrors beyond imagination.

With an extra card key in hand, she entered the room. Her heart sank as she found it empty. Panic and wild thoughts swirled in her mind, and she collapsed onto the floor, covering her face with trembling hands. She feared the worst, believing that the serial killer had taken him, as there was no logical reason for him not to be in the room. She scoured the entire hotel, searching every nook and cranny, but found no trace of her fiancé.

Driven by desperation, she returned to their room once more, clinging to the hope that he might be there. To her immense relief, she found him inside. She rushed to him, embracing him tightly, her voice trembling as she recounted the terrifying situation and urged him to escape with her. She reached for his hand to flee the danger, but to her shock, he withdrew his hand.

Confusion swept over her, and she turned towards him with a perplexed expression. As he looked at her, an evil grin twisted his face, and he coldly spoke the unthinkable words, "You are too dumb to notice. You had the opportunity to live, but you chose death. The serial killer everyone is searching for is me. Did you truly think I loved you? Not in your wildest dreams. I lured you into believing my love, all so I could lead you to your death."

Numbness overcame her, and dizziness set in. She collapsed into his arms, trapped in a nightmare that had unfolded before her eyes. The person she had trusted, loved, and planned to spend her life with had revealed himself as a heartless killer, and she was left with a horrifying choice: confront the unimaginable truth or face the unthinkable fate he had designed for her.
