Chapter 8 – Entering Daisy’s Kingdom

The group woke up and finally entered the Toad populated kingdom of Sarasa.

"More Toads eh?" Asked Kevin, passing many of them who get excited at another human being in their kingdom.

"Man, I really wanna pickpocket right now." Stated Nabbit.

"Nabbit just be patient. After we greet Daisy we'll find a treasury outside the kingdoms to hold you over." Peach answered while leading the group to the open throne room in the middle of the kingdom.

"Hey guys! It's nice to see and meet you! I'm Daisy!" Princess Daisy shouted upon seeing the group.

"Nice to meet you too princess. I'm Kevin, the new human around these parts." Kevin stated as he shook the princess's hand.

"It has been quite some time Daisy." Peach said as she openly hugged Daisy.

"It sure has! So, how's the kingdom? Is Toadette or Toadsworth running it this time?" asked Daisy as she brought the crew to the nearby tavern and inn.

"Toadette is running the kingdom thanks to the Super Crown this time." Peach answered.

"Oh it's active at this time? You better get to work finding the other three, lest they fall into the wrong hands." Daisy replied.

"Super Crowns? Like the crowns on your head?" asked Kevin, unaware of this due to never having discussed this prior.

"They are magical crowns that were made by one of the many past human queens. Their ability is to give any species a transformation into a human female with the power of a Power Star." replied Peach.

"What's a Power Star?" Kevin and Nabbit ask.

"Oh boy…here we go." bemoaned Daisy.

"A Power Star is the source of a star child's power! Not to mention they are used to create magical artifacts. Nabbit, your staff was made with the Power Star of a wizard king named Aultcray. Kevin, your Gauntlet radiates with Power Star energy, so you must be a star child in addition to being human! Did the princess never tell either of you before now?" Miguel ranted.

"Ok ok I get it, Toad. Though now that I think about it, this explains why there is no dragon voice that guides me, because the Power Star just replicates the ability of the Replica from my knowledge, but it can't just make an entire soul subconsciously." Kevin stated.

"Anyway, all that talk on Power Stars made me tired. I'm going to sleep." Daisy decided, as she climbed the nearby stairs and entered one of the Inn rooms.

"Hello dearies. You can pay for the Inn night in the morning, so get some rest for your travels with the princess." said an older female Toad, presumably the grandmother to the young lad running around as a waiter.

"We'll do just that, miss. Thank you and have a good evening." replied Kevin, who moved to his own room in a blur, Nabbit following suit in another.

"Night everyone!" shouted Miguel, who got glares from all the half asleep Toads around him.
