Alliance For The World

Belketh's dark hooded head looked at each person in the meeting room, his eyes wandering every faction leader with glee at seeing all of them present, well except one, in which her spirit appeared from thin air, the centaur Reem. She was a centaur, her strong four legged body, and tan head with two horns and visible red hairs.

"Now we are complete" declared the angel as he greeted the centaur woman with a nod of his head.

Silence reigned in the room as Belketh leva his staff above his head, projecting a green light toward the table that started to turn, the strange runes on the table lighting not long after, a strange reptile man appeared on the table, his strong body could be seen, his size and armaments were worrying thing.

"This is Emperor Xat'Lanos of the Xarianos Empire, the strongest empire on this continent where we all live, and I tell this by an extremely large margin, his empire could crush all of us individually without even deploying his elite troops, but they can't fight us on all front if we fight at the same time" said Belketh as the scenery on the table continued to change to show large cities by the dozen, slave being forced to work on mines and other nefarious deeds of this civilisation.

"Slavers ! " spat Reem, her hatred for slavery coming from her centaur blood as the entire Orcs races were enslaved by the Seven Cities back in Ashan, ony a bloody rebellion truly liberated the Orcs from their Magicians Master

"Unsightly indeed" joined the beautiful black haired elf Jenova.

"But how is this war any problem for us ? " demanded Nur, the djinn woman with narrowed eyes toward Reem.

"Even if this Empire is not a threat for you in the current time, will it still continue to not be a threat a hundred years in the future ? " replied Belketh to the Djinn

"Of course the pet of the largest slavers in Ashan would question the need to slaughter these disgusting beings" spat Reem as her spectral form turned to Nur

Nur frowned at the centaur commentary as she turned toward her

"Contrary to you, I don't rebel against my masters to plant a knife in their backs, as you did despite the fact that they created you " spat the Djinn back at the Centaur that looked even more enraged about what was just said.

"Listen here, you disgusting-"

"Enough ! " "Stop !" came the two voices of two being blessed by Urgash, the first one clad in an Elrath's confessor armor and the other one in his dark armor of a Chaos Lord, Lucas and Vagran raised their voices at the same time, the pure shockwave of their voices makin the hairs of everyone blow a bit.

"We are here for an alliance not for banters" said Lucas as he looked at the two woman "If you want a war between yourself then do it but after this one, we are talking about the survival of all the races of Ashan so your banters about the past can be left at the door of this room"

Silence descended once again in the room as everyone looked at Lucas and Vagran, that were actually just seat neightboors

"Well, I kinda agree with silver man on this one, we are here to discuss and alliance so I expected some professionalism and calm but well, I knew at the door after your reply to me Lady Nur that you were quit indisposed to diplomacy" sais Vagran with calm as he hammered each word with his grave voice.

A chuckle emanated from Jenova's seat as she elegantly placed her hand in front of her mouth.

"Lady Nur, you are being mocked by a demon for your calmness. If I were you, it would have—"

"And you," interrupted Vagran, fixing his gaze on the elven woman. "Do not think that I don't know what you are doing. You practically started a conflict with the Dark Elves before the start of the meeting, and now you are rousing everyone against each other. So do tell me if you don't want an alliance."

Jenova met Vagran's gaze, her hand still covering her mouth, but her smile nowhere to be seen. Only narrowed eyes and a frown adorned her face.

"The 'demon,' as you call him, is right," chimed in the gravelly voice of Tholgar. "You are not being helpful, elf."

"Okay, everyone!" intervened Lyza, her voice higher than before, undoubtedly due to stress. "Why are we talking among ourselves? We should just agree, like Mr. Belketh said. We can't allow ourselves to be alone in this fight. Let's all put our enmities at bay and agree to military aid for everyone here."

Lucas and Vagran chuckled at Lyza's flustered voice. Once again, they exchanged narrowed glances before breaking into a smile as they looked at each other, then turned their attention back to the young queen.

"The young queen is right," affirmed the dark voice of Malarion.

"I second," added Zakera.

Lyza's complexion relaxed as they approved of her proposal.

"Then if you are finished," said Belkiel, his voice colder than before, practically freezing the entire room. "This display was unbefitting of any leader worth their salt. Now, the next person who dares to insult another in this room will be granted early release from life."

The room temperature dropped considerably as nobody dared to challenge the angel's authority.

"Good, then we shall discuss strategy for a bit," he said as the light once again altered the image on the table, revealing a map of the Empire and the neighboring areas. Symbols marked the positions of each faction. Sanctuary, Haven, and Dungeon were practically on the Empire's doorstep, with the Orcs from Stronghold situated in an Archipelago in the sea bordering the Empire.

"As you can see, the nearest are Lucas and Malarion. I didn't count you, Lyza, as your kingdom is hard to attack due to being underwater," explained Belketh. He traced his hand on the map, showing a maritime route towards the coastal cities.

"The first point is to cut this route. This is the only supply road they can take to provide food and necessities to their cities in the Archipelago. So, in the first months of the war, we should concentrate our efforts on two fronts. First, conquering the Archipelago with Reem and Lyza leading the attack. Lyza, you should cut their supply route, while Reem and the Orcs take the famished cities with no apparent problem.

"The upcoming battle in the Archipelago won't be easy, as it serves as their breeding ground for ferocious beastlife that the lizardmen later tame. I will personally participate directly in this battlefield. It holds significant importance as our opening point in this war, and I hope the focus on this battlefield will make the others easier.

But I advise caution, Queen Lyza. Among their slaves, they have tributes of fishmen ready to tear into their amphibious foes.

I presume they will send their Coatl riders to meet our attack. This order is akin to the Dragon Knight Order back in Ashan, an extremely prestigious order of knights riding powerful flying beasts. However, the Coatl are nothing compared to a dragon. Chieftain Reem, your Wyverns will be far enough to tear their numbers from the sky." The centaur Reem nodded at this with a bloodthirsty smile, eager to tear into those she hated and shred them to pieces.

"The worst battlefront will be on the ground. This is where we should push and then establish bases in this mountain pass. It's the only passage point for their armies in the region. If they want to attack the Falcon Kingdom, they would have to take a road across the mountains that would result in too many losses for them to consider it worth it."

Everyone examined the map, committing every detail to memory to anticipate future challenges during the war.

"But, if we want this mountain pass to be taken by us, we need to take their three cities between us and the ravine," Lucas said, tapping the table with his finger.

"Indeed," concurred Vagran, scanning the room. "But how can we attack three cities in such a little amount of time before the enemies send reinforcements?"

"Teleportation," replied Belketh to the Chaos Lord. "I should teleport the armies to the nearest cities to attack. The only city that could pose a problem is Xar'Analath." He pointed to the city nearest the mountain pass. "This city is heavily defended with strong magical barriers. I'll need some time to crack their defensive matrix to bring down the magical shield, and then we should be able to swiftly conquer them."

"High Thane Tholgar, are your troops ready to defeat the enemies guarding the mountain pass? There are approximately five hundred enemy soldiers protecting it."

The High Thane pondered for a moment before shaking his head. "I don't think that I could do it alone. I will require one of our allies in this attack, perhaps Jenova. Your rangers and druids could prove to be of great help."

Jenova frowned but nodded in agreement as Belketh smiled behind his hood.

"Then the assault on the mountain path is decided. Next on the cities will be Lucas, Malarion, Zakera, and Nur. This could be the easiest attack, as I already destroyed an entire regiment of Lizardmen as they neared Rosemary village. Their entire garrison was decimated by me."

The four of them looked at each other before nodding in agreement.

"And for the last, Vagran, you will serve as an exterminator for their food supplies. You will raid their agricultural region, situated past the mountain pass, so you will need to destroy their barricade at the mountain pass. Don't worry; their barricade will not withstand Urgash's fury. Then you will descend into their farms and cripple the food supply for a good part of their Empire."

"This could buy us enough time to destroy the cities," nodded Vagran, a satisfied smile gracing his face. "I like this idea. So, when are we starting?"

"We will commence our plan at the beginning of next week, in four days. I will personally reveal the start of each operation to you. Now, we shall enjoy two days together to form bonds, as I've observed that some of you need that extra time for yourselves. If you'll excuse me, I will begin cracking their defensive matrix," said Belketh as he disappeared, leaving us among ourselves. Lianna and Jenova exchanged glaring looks, as did Reed and Nuv. Lucas observed Vagran, who placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Can we talk for a bit?" asked the demon lord to the young king.

"Yeah, why not? Do you want to come, Lyza?" inquired the young king, prompting the queen to join them. Malarion appeared near Lucas.

"I think we should have a talk as fellow transmigrators," suggested Lucas as they entered an adjacent room to the meeting room.
