Ariellas pov

I really couldn't believe that he was really stooping this low. All I was doing was ignoring him and he decided that was grounds for making me eat squid.

"Blake. Ariella I presume." A blond haired God said as he sat down from accross us. I took him in quietly as I stirred this nasty concoction with the spoon I was given.

"Are you guys really eating squid?" The blond God asked with disgust written all over his face. Even he knew this was torture.

"Well you see Ariella Is ignoring me and refused to tell me what kind of food she wanted, so I decided I would play along to her petty games too." Blake lied. Blatantly lied to be exact. It was like he was named Blake because they knew he would lie.

It was fine I would eat this nasty squid and than once I started dating the yellow haired God nobody would have the right to ever boss me around or lie to me again. And if I couldn't get the yellowed haired God I would find someone better. Just wait and see.

All my anger was being taken out on the squid that was dead. The spoon I had caused no damage and basically slid around it instead of through.

"I think I know what's wrong. The drink they told you to give her is probably causing her to have her attitude." The blonde haired God stated like it was just normal to give others drinks that had adverse side effects.

"Where's your food at Alax?" Blake asked the God who's name was Alax. Alax smiled alittle before he put a bag on the table.

The bag was a small white bag so I doubted it had much in it. I looked back down at my food and closed my eyes because the squid looked slimy and cold. Not something I was looking forward to.

"Oh yea here. This is for her. It will help clean out her system so she'll be back to normal." Alax explained like I wasn't here. Technically you could say I wasn't since I refused to talk to anyone.

A crystal bottle that sparkled was set on the middle of the table. Blake reached over and grabbed it before looking at me with a soft smile.

Nope. Not going to happen. I looked away from him and stared at the squid like my life depended on it.

"Well you guys are eating that nasty squid for some reason, I decided to get tacos." Alax gloated causing me to stiffen.

It took every part of me not to lose my cool as I slowly looked up to tacos. Tacos that I wanted. I know this was done intentionally. The tacos looked perfect. The tortilla was cooked to perfection, while chicken was on one of them and ground beef was on the other. The lettuce looked fresh and there was atleast a handful of cheese in each. The sourcream was just perfect and the anger in me was rising.

"You know if you drank that I would give you these." Alax tried to negotiate but that wouldn't work because I refused to talk.

"I mean I would agree as long as she drank this." Blakes confirmation sealed my fate. He couldn't take it back and if he did he would regret it. So I was grabbing the bottle without a second thought. Blake gave me something earlier so I doubt this was bad. Well I hoped it wasn't and if it was bad, I hope I got to eat my tacos before it affected me.

The bottle was easy to open. A simple pull and a small pop before I was putting the drink to my lips. I didn't even think about it because I bet this tasted better than the squid.

The drink was not what I expected it wasn't horrible but it was salty which definitely didn't go with the sparkling blue color that was pretty to look at. I didn't want to have to wait for my tacos so I downed the drink with no questions asked.

"You know you shouldn't take drinks from strangers." Alax stated which had me pausing. I probably looked like an idiot with a empty bottle by my lips but I couldn't think straight.

"Relax we are both on the council. I mean don't take anything of any sort from random Gods because they could do alot of damage." Alaxs words had me cringing inwardly. I was so careless.

Alax pushed over the tacos with a small smile that I couldn't help but return. I loved tacos, they were definitely my favorite mortal food.

I wasted no time in bringing it closer. Right as I picked up a taco, guilt hit me though. I was about to eat his food. I couldn't help but set it back down and push it back towards him. He was nice enough to try to help me and give me his food.

"Thanks but it's yours." I whispered with a smile. I looked down at the squid and felt tears form. This was not going how I dreamed for things to go. Everything was all over the place.

"Don't you dare cry. I said you could have it. Anyways I have my own food." Alax pushed the tacos back towards me and pulled out another bigger bag.

I watched as he pulled out a sub that was dripping with ingredients that I had never seen before. It had to be a royal sub because I never got to eat anything except for mortal food. I laughed alittle as I wiped away a stray tear.

"You tricked me." I stated as I watched him take a huge bit with no care in the world. He chewed his food while holding up a finger. Im guessing he needed a second.

I looked down at the tacos and decided to go for it. I grabbed a taco and took a bite of the best thing I had ever tasted. The seasoning on it was perfect. I tasted so much spice and the sweetness of the sourcream added to it. The cheese was a bonus.

A bottle of sauce was pushed towards me and I smiled in thanks before I was grabbing the sauce and putting a generous amount to my taco.

"See it was worth it. Now you are back to normal. Imagine if I didn't trick you with tacos." Alaxs happy voice had me confused. Why were they so nice to me?
