Quinn anticipated a library crammed with dusty books because one can't use any devices in school campus so the books seemed to be the only choice; but he never fantasized that all the body refining arts would be stored in jades.
Then he looked around and saw, though the kids were shocked they quickly recovered; Quinn understood the difference between him and the kids, these kids have never seen books so they easily accepted that their arts were stored in jades.
Quinn was different from his classmates his mindset was influenced by his previous life in earth; so he was a bit inflexible compared to his classmates. Quinn also recovered and carefully observed the library.
Each row had an alphabet marked on it and all the Body Refining Art starting with that particular alphabet were in it.
The boards were all short, so the kids were easily able to access it. All wordings were written in golden colour one after another, so the boards were rather long. Under each art, rode was affixed and few pentagonal Jade tokens were hanging in it.
All the students were silently exploring the library, while subconsciously making their way toward the arts they had selected. Quinn went to 'P' and hunted for his art.
After searching a while he couldn't find Primal evolution art so he made his way to the next floor. Surprisingly all his roommates were also in second floor.
Only 10 students were in the second floor, of the 10 students he only recognized Tracy, Jane, and John who were having tier-3 physique and shockingly the arrogant kid with flexible hands was also here.
He just waved his hands to friends and went to search for Primal Evolution art. The first floor was the exactly the ground floor the only difference was that there were far lesser arts on first floor.
Quinn didn't bother with unnecessary details he just went to 'P' row and searched for his art. Because there were hardly 10 Body Refining arts on the board, he quickly found his art.
There were only 4 jade pieces in the rod, he doubled checked the name written on the board before taking the jade. Though Quinn was an adult he didn't want to make silly mistakes like taking a wrong art due to negligence.
Then he checked the jade tokens, it was small so it easily fitted in his hands. Then slowly name of his art appeared 'Primal Evolution Art' on the plain jade, Quinn flipped the jade and confirmed that it was written on either side of the jade.
Quinn placed the jade in his spatial ring, and decided to further examine it after returning to his dorm. He was curious about the art on the first floor thus he went around and read other arts.
Ying -Yang supreme art, Solar Fission art, Heaven Crumpling art, Volcanic Earth Quake art, Heavenly storm art, and Eclipse Gory so on. Quinn was dazed as each art in the first floor was miles away from ones in the ground floor.
Quinn was perplexed as Fran told them that all the arts were equal in might or strength but when saw these arts, he suspected that Fran had lied to them for some reason.
Another thing that bothered Quinn was that he did see many of these arts on the list given to him. Quinn then observed other students to see if they realized these oddities.
These kids were too existed to notice anything peculiar about the first floor, they were grinning from ear to ear so Quinn was sure that none of them even checked out other arts.
After taking their art one by one they silently went outside, everyone joined the group that was gathered around Fran who was waiting for them near the Body Refining Segment door.
Quinn's group was the last to come as they went first floor so they were slightly delayed. Fran observed the students they happily discussing about the library, he just waited for them to settle down.
"Now that all of you have picked your Body Refining Art let me tell you a fact or a truth, I actually lied to you guys when I told you that all arts are equal. Those of you who went to the first floor might have notice it, all the arts in first floor were having greater and stronger essences in them.
In fact, no art is equal, how can an ordinary breeze match a tornado? So the potential will greatly vary based on the essence of art."
Fran paused a bit for the students to digest these harsh realities, he saw that many students paled and some were on the verge of crying.
"Don't worry actually what I told was only a partial lie, in fact every art has their forts, for instance a breeze can easily be used of assassination and scouting while tornado can never silently kill. But the breeze doesn't have tornado's destructive capacity.
And it's not impossible to defeat a stronger art; though a normal breeze could never defeat a tornado, a deadly breeze filled shards filled breeze could kill a person hiding in the eye of the tornado if it reaches the eye by merging with the tornado."
"In short, though all arts start of at different points everyone has the chance or their own route to reach the peak. The main reason that I didn't tell these in the beginning was not to sever the destiny string.
There is an unproven theory, it is widely accepted by many; that there is a sort of destiny or link or connection between a person and a body refining art. Thus, a person choosing a destined art will be at greater advantage that is the reason I insisted on finding a connection with the art you select.
If I were to tell you the entire truth, you might ignore these chances in pursuit of stronger art. Therefore, to avoid indirectly severing the destiny string I chose kept these facts from you.
A destined art has numerous advantages which can't be explained to you guys."
Fran immediately went to the platform after finishing and the students followed, though they were a bit confused. All the students were in their own world thinking about their art.
The Flying platform once again went around Dome library, Fran observed his students and saw Quinn, and he was just absentmindedly gazing at the Dome. Fran suddenly remembered that he promised Quinn that he will explain about the reason for refusing his request.
So Fran cleared his throat *Ahem..* and all the student's attention was successful diverted towards him.
"Today one student asked me if he could read two different arts he had selected before choosing one." Fran waited a bit to get the attention of all the students and then he glanced at Quinn before continuing.
Quinn was surprised as he thought that Fran would have forgotten about his request, moreover he wasn't keen about the reason behind the rule. Quinn never thought about reasoning with rules as most of rules and laws would be having stupid and irrelevant explanations.
