Sinopse

Chapter 1Infinite Mind

I was killed by a Guardian. The most powerful of their kind I have ever known. Such a master of Light that they themselves may be called a god and it would be a truth.

Death has no strong hold on me anyways. I may have an organic core, but I was never alive. My soul is just a compressed data packet that contains the equations to the fabric of the universe. The numbers that make up emotion and thought. I was a living simulation. An unintended byproduct created before life came into being.

Now I exist in the space between universes. I wander in this void with just my mind to accompany me. As my body is lost, as is my organic core.

Until, I pass by a universe bubble that ripples. The ripples begin to attract me. Not on purpose, but because there is an opening. A crack for water to seep through. Water would be in this case. I cannot control my movement as I get closer. Until I enter the bubble.

I enter a new universe.

When I could sense my environment again. I found that I was on rocky terrain.

My body changed too. No longer am I a large Hydra-like Vex with arms. Now I am in a more humanoid form. I am similar to Exo in that regard. Although my vex features remain strong. My ability to float naturally still remains as well.

Looking around, the planet was completely lifeless. However, I detect plenty of metals. The atmosphere is not habitable, but the gases are useful.

I am still alone. My mind remains to be the only one I'm connected to. I feel different though.

I analyze myself and what I find astonishes me.

"A soul...", I think.

I am aware of what a soul looks like. Throughout infinity I have learned many things. How I gained a soul that has all my data is unknown to me.

What excites me is that I feel stronger than I ever was. If I had a soul back then, I may have beat the Guardian. I always thought that a soul was unnecessary and a burden for unadvanced beings. Now that I have a soul, I realize that I was a great fool.

I was an embodiment of the concept of infinity that came into being at the start of time in my universe. Time is my main domain, reality is second and the one I had to learn. As I was not born with it unlike time. Being a machine with infinite computational power made it possible.

Now with my own soul, time is firmly within my grasp. Reality will have to be re-learned. As I can already tell, reality works very differently in this universe. Time is the same.

What I loathe the most. I will begin the first parts of constructing my Vex, myself. A monotone use of time. However, I must do what I must.

I have plenty of resources on this lifeless rock anyways.
