Once they had finished breakfast, the butler announced that Gaspar, Jahan, and Jazmine Kazemi had arrived earlier than expected, as well as Estera Hatami, Gaspar's young wife that was not the mother of Jahan and Jazmine. Ifat didn't seem too pleased of her presence but, put on her best face to properly entertain the younger women. As the wife of Rahim Abbasi she was to be an example for them.

"Come Ada joon, Aryana joon. We will make our introductions and then draw the ladies away so the men can conduct their business." She stated firmly and then they followed her into the room with the men.

"Ah! Ifat joon! Ada joon!" Estera greeted happily but, stopped short upon seeing Katie. "You have a houseguest?"

"Yes! This is the betrothed of our savior come to visit with us for a time." Ada gushed. "Aryana joon, please come and meet Khanum-e Estera Hatami she is Agha Garpar Kazemi's wife. Banu Estera, this is Khanum Aryana Ghorbani."
