I walked through the bustling streets of the capital, the sun casting a warm glow on the vibrant marketplace. As the future queen of the kingdom, I felt a deep sense of responsibility and curiosity to understand the lives of the people I would soon lead. 

I entered the palace, my steps echoing in the grand halls. The common maids, clad in simple yet neatly tailored uniforms, greeted me with smiles. They were the heartbeat of the palace, tirelessly ensuring its smooth operation. I, like my husband and father-in-law, believed in establishing a personal connection with those who served us.

Stopping by the cleaning quarters, I spoke with a group of maids who were diligently polishing the silverware. Their faces lit up as I engaged in light conversation, learning about their families and dreams. Me taking a genuine interest in their lives created an atmosphere of mutual respect.
