The Imaginary Clown: Marvel Fanfiction

A young man named Anthony lives with misfortune throughout his life. He was raised with abuse, neglect, and violence. Fortunately, he has someone in his life who never made him feel alone. Some people say he's just a figment of his imagination. A fracture inside the mind that formed through his environment. To cope with all the pain. Whatever they were saying..... But Anthony knew that was not the case at all, he knew very well that someone was living inside of him. He calls himself, Jihn. ----------------------- Stated inside a mental institution for his crimes and considered mentally insane, he planned a bet with his dear friend, Jihn. If he didn’t got out of that damn prison-like place for 3 months, his so-called imaginary friend will blow everything to bits including the civilians. Will the bet between two insane people be continued or will an unprecedented event happen, that would change both of their lives? (This is my first time writing fanfiction. I hope you can help me progress better for tolerable entertainment.) (PS. Although it’s in Marvel Universe, it won’t follow the MCU version. A lot of other elements will be added to have more spice. Mainly from comics and other genres.)

Predicament

....Are you actually high from inhaling different kinds of chemicals or are you reading it right....

or maybe it was just a huge coincidence?

You know no Tony Stark in real life, especially a big shot.

Your eyes started bulging from reading all the content, even mutants were mentioned in it. Clearly, mutants only existed in the Marvel Universe.

You feel your heartbeat rising exponentially 'till you heard a snap, "Mon chèri, clear your head."

You feel bile coming out from your mouth, and retched outside the porch. "Did we actually get transported into a world of monsters and superheroes?! There's like a fuck ton of versions of universe in Marvel!" you were exasperated.

The clown was silent, thinking about what do from now on, "isn't this amazing, though?"

You contemplated, "I mean yeah.. I'm basically a Marvel fan but it's not the same as living in it. If it's not the MCU version... we're fucked. We don't even have any superpowers!"

"Uhm? The Punisher? Hawkeye? Ironman???" the clown feels more like a fanboy than you, "bête." ha, as if I'm insulted.

It took about a minute to collect yourself, and breathing exercises actually helped.

There's a huge scarce of electronics here in this place so Google doesn't help you confirm your suspicions right now.

Then, excitement and confusion was shown on your face, "We could actually meet.. the Ghost Rider!!!" you were screaming inside already, "Jihn..." you looked at him longingly.

In reality, you were staring at the vast cornfield.

The clown cringed, "Putain... " and sighed, "Let's just see what this world can show us, noh?"

You were still reading the newspaper and saw today's date.. "August 11, 2008.." you muttered, "Are we on Earth-616 or Earth 199999?" you wish it was either one of them.

"Don't care, don't matter," the clown remarked playfully.

In fact, you actually don't have anything to do the original residents here, they have what we call a plot armor. But you can't really rest until you found out why you were transported here,

with Jihn.

"I think the most plausible plan right now is to create a new identity, mon chéri," pulling you back into reality, "we still need to finish this." he smiled.

You rolled your eyes, "do we even have an identity here? We're in a completely foreign but familiar world," you thought and said, "but yes.. we need to move."

You saw the silhouette of Jenny approaching you, probably gonna ask what to do next.

"Help me drag this fucker down the hole," smiling amiably at her.

Jenny just silently nodded and proceeds to help you. After kicking the body down the ditch, you brought the chemicals that would dissolve almost every part of his body. Pouring it all over inside the pit, drowning it to oblivion. You didn't care if it will dissolve or not, you magically erased every evidence that can put you in a hot seat.

Maybe, you didn't even exist in this world. That would be better, you thought.

You never really asked this, "Jenny? Where are we right now?"

"Illionis," she paused, "Arcola."

Suddenly, you wanted everything to burn for no reason at all. No, everything is actually burning.

You clutched your head, banging it at the soft, dirtied ground. Until you felt a pull from you and everything went numb. Once again, inside your own cocoon.

"What the fuck, Anthony!" Jihn sounded concerned for once, "Why did I feel a burning sensation from you?"

Jenny immediately tried to help you, horrified if there's anything wrong with you. In physical means, since you're already in pieces up there in the head department.

You were dumbfounded, usually you're more composed than the clown but what just happened felt like your mind was breaking and was being burned.

Filled with fear and confusion, "I don't know.. maybe it has got something to do about why we're here?", placing your hands at your knees to stand up,

Jihn replied nothing, distracted with your reply.

"I apologize, Jenny, let's get outta here,"

She decided not to prod about it, seemingly personal to you. Plus, she's terrified of you.

After filling the hole with acid, you tossed all the protective equipment you wore including the gloves. Then with both of your efforts, it seemed like there was never a hole to begin with.

You dusted yourself from the dirt, and grabbed the car keys inside your pocket. Thoroughly cleaning the slaughterhouse helped you find some important things to carry with you.

Just enough to NOT raise a suspicion of anything missing.

Besides, Jenny would bring the farmer's truck to the police. A factor to add on how she escaped this hell, and made it seem like it was from her own efforts.

You brought the duffle bag out into the passenger seat. Carrying this baby since you got here, and stuffing it with more essentials. You packed some extra disposable masks, gloves and more.

"Because we never really know what might happen, right?" as Jihn winked.

You warned him, "Stop talking or Jenny might think we're crazy."

She already think's we're crazy, though.

"Waiiit.. aren't firearms illegal in this place?" and the clown really asked.

She looked at you with bewilderment, "does that matter to psychopaths?"

"Oh," yes, indeed, Jihn.

"Just ask me the questions, not her," you grunted.

Eyeing the keys in his hand, he asked, "Madamoiselle, do you want me drive or..." looking at Jenny as if the next part of the question was obvious.

She grabbed the keys and said, "I'll drive."

Suddenly, someone pulled you out of your stupor again, "At least say something first.. damn," you muttered under your breath.

"Pardon me, I'll be sleeping now." He bowed gracefully and went mute.

"Rude."

The sound of engine reverberated through the silent field of cornstalks. Why is it always a cornfield that equates to anything horror?

"Let's go" and Jenny started to drive, finally moving away from this nightmare.

You placed your feet at the dashboard and laid back on the seat.

Popping a lit cigarette to your mouth.

The taste of nicotine and freedom lingered, feeling the breeze of the unprecedented life you'll have in this newfound world you got dragged into.
