3.Fallen

It's been three days since the pair of humans where found. They were put in the pack hospital and taken care of by the pack healer onyx, a witch who was adopted by the former Alpha.

Onyx stood over the female human whose name she knew not, yet. The woman had been going in and out of consciousness for past three days, mumbling about saving a child's life, possibly the child she had with her. Having stabilized her, onyx believed

she would be awake enough to be able to have a conversation. The child however is what is bringing her troubles now, he had not woken up once in the past three days and she had known idea what to do.

She was so lost in thought that she did not hear the footsteps moving towards her until a hand fell gently onto her shoulder.

That caused her to jump from her thinking state, startled onyx turned sharply around other give a piece of her mind to the culprit only to meet the face of the Alpha.

She froze but soon came to when she heard the Beta laughing.

"I don't find your joke funny brother." she said, looking at the Alpha with annoyance written on her face.

"But you look so cute when you are mad."

The Alpha said, pretending to look pitiful but onyx wasn't buying it and the Beta was trying very hard to not laugh out loud.

Onyx sterd at the Beta in displeasure and turned to her brother.

" if you are not here to see our guests please leave now." she said as her eyes began to glow red.

"came out sweety pie don't be like that."

Onyx pulled away from her brother in a huff and turned towards the room with the woman in it. The two men looked at each other and followed her.

"she should be awake now, I think. So maybe we can talk to her and find out where she came from." onyx told them as they walked towards the room.

When they were about to enter the room they heard movement from inside.

'I guess she is awake then' thought onyx.

They walk in and saw Haru standing by the bed with her hair falling on her face and head bowed. Hearing the sound of the door opening she looked at her visitors with calm eyes.

Haru was confused for a while after she had woken up but started looking for the young master and found him in the room next to hers. It was as if the people who saved them didn't want to be too apart. She say with him for a while and then went back to her room. The ones who saved them may come back and she had to clear up some things. She stood by her bed for an hour and saw two people walk in, a woman and two men.

Before they could say anything Haru started talking.

"I don't know how long I can last so please listen to me." The Alpha whom she didn't know yet knoded at her.

"Am a handmaid from a now almost annailated main branch of a great family, The Dracon family of the east mountains."

She looked at the people who looked back at her with shock. She expected it, anyone who knows about the great familys would be.

" The child with me is the last surviving of the main line, the son of my sworn mistress. " 'haaaaaa, I hope they help.' "I know my request is a bit much, but you please protect my young master? I can't do it anymore,my life is spent." she looked at them for a moment and then knelt on the floor banging her on the floor when they did not respond.

The Alpha quickly garbed her making her stop the suicidal act and growled at her in anger.

" what is wrong with you? are you trying to die?" they were just discussing through mindlink how to deal with this issue and did not expect thir silence to make her do this.

"am already dieing, now or later does not matter. Only my young master's safety."

Onyx looked at the woman in her brother's arms deeply in the eyes she could feel the life draining from her now. She had noticed before, maybe because the woman had forcibly held her soul together using pure Will but now her young master could find safety and she was beginning to fall apart.

She got down to the ground and held the woman's hand.

"what is your name?"

"my name is Haru and my young masters name is Killian."

"I swear to look after your young master, I will adopted him and look after him well. On my witchcraft soul this oat be sealed."

Haru looked at the woman in shock which then turned to a smile.

"Thank you."

Haru said as she closed her eyes breathing slower and lower until her breath seized a few moments later, onyx held her hands to the end.
