Chapter 10- Will She Accept Me?

November 17th, 2046, 8:55

(Noah's POV)

It's all so confusing right now. Tess, the girl who basically tried to f*ck Ally now told me that I should get her? i'm very confused, but there's something good about all of this. I mean yeah I'm still unsure whether I should or shouldn't ask her out considering she already rejected me once. And I have been really harsh with her ever since that incident. I wish I hadn't been. Damn it! Do I love her? I'm not sure anymore. Heck! I'm sixteen! I don't know what love is like. I've only had a girlfriend before, and she cheated on me. How am I supposed to tell her know that I want to be with her? I just feel, complete when I'm with her. I feel, not so lonely, as if every inch I'm away from her is an unimaginable torture. As if we were meant to be together. As if I was meant for her and she was meant for me. I really feel something towards her, the only real thing I've ever felt for anyone before. And I don't want to be late. I don't want to see her with anyone else, I want to be hers and only hers..

I'm not ranting right now. I feel really attracted towards her. And I don't want to realize the full lenght of what I feel for her until it's too late and she's with someone else. I must tell her before it's too late.

I arrived at Ally's cabin after a few minutes running down Heroes Av., and when I got there something was... off. The lights were all on but the cabin was apparently empty. I turned the doorknob and entered the small cabin. I walked down the hall to Ally's room and she was there, asleep apparently. I approached her and she suddenly stood up and started to walk towards me. Hair and eyes pale blue again. It was that thing, presence, altern personality, whatever she was. She was looking me dead in the eyes with a nasty evil smirk.

-So, why are you here instead of her?

I asked assertively, although I really was terrified.

-Yeah, she fell asleep really deep, so I thought it would be nice to, you know, pop up. Spice things up for when she awakes.

-How should I call you?

-Let's leave it at Winter Shadow, if you knew my real name, your mind would be blown into the next life.

-Fine, Winter Shadow. So, by spicing things up. What did you mean?

-I meant doing something she'll probably regret when she wakes up, like doing something stupid when you're drunk, but putting aside the drunk part. Alcohol does me more damage than her.

-Hmm... well, what do you have in mind?

-Are there any pools nearby, maybe belonging to someone we don't like?

-Not that I know of.

-Well, then that narrows it down to... you I guess.

-Me?

-Yes, you moron. Take me out or something, I haven't been on a date for a long time. And you seem... okay, I think. You have good hair, pretty eyes, an, astonishing body. I think you may be able to take me in a decent date.

I was feeling, angry, very angry. How dare she! Nevertheless, I can kind of sense that this, Winter Shadow thing, person, whatever, is not to be messed with. She seems, powerful, menacing, very very evil. I decide to play along until the situation becomes favorable. I actually have a dose of the drug concoction Tess gave Ally back at the lab, only that now she modified it to suppress the side effects. She gave it to me after Ally went out of the lab. "Just for an emergency" I remember Tess saying on my head. This seemed like a darn good emergency to me. I'll just wait for the right moment to put the drugs in her.

-Fine, what kind of food do you like?

-Korean.

-You know there's actually a pretty good Korean restaurant down Heroes Av. if you'd like to go there.

-I would love to.

-Great let's get going then.

Fine, I know what you're thinking, I'm going on a date with the alter ego of the girl I like. Pretty messed up right? But technically, I did it in fear she'd freeze me to death. Just for the record. We arrived to the restaurant and only ordered some drinks. When she went to the ladies' room, I put the drugs on her drink, I know. Dick move. But what other option did i have? I was desperate. She came back and drank the whole thing. A few seconds later, Ally was sitting in front of me, clueless.

-Where am I?

She asked looking around in panic.

-Oh hey, didn't see you there. I was just having a date with Winter Shadow.

-You were WHAT?

She asked suddenly enraged.

-Chill would you? It was only a joke. I mean I was technically on a date with her, but anyways. Why would you care? We're not even together, it's none of your business who I'm seeing.

-It is if it's my body and my consciousness they're using.

-Whatever, thanks for bringing me back, I'm sorry for not taking enough care for her to take control again, I would expect you to be saying that right now.

-You're such a dick.

-Really I'm only joking.

(Ally's POV)

-Really I'm only joking.

Noah said, his expression changing into a concerned look.

-Yeah sure, just tell me where am I and I'll get you back to your date with your ego.

-Honestly Allison, before seeing her being, well her, I was going to your house to talk about something important.

-Like what?

I asked blushing, everytime he called me Allison my whole body shivered. It had a certain effect on me when he said it that I couldn't help myself.

-Like telling you how I feel. About you. About us.

-There's no "us".

-Not unless you want to.

-You're seriously asking me that way?

Jackpot. He was now blushing really hard.

-If it didn't seem embarrasing enough I can kneel right here and propose it to you?

-Please refrain from doing it.

-So is that a yes?

-Yeah.
