Raven walked inside with Lily beside him. They both walked in silence without saying anything, but very much aware of each other's presence. Lily tried to catch a glimpse of Raven's face at intervals so she could read his face, but just like every other time, he had a calm expression that gave away nothing.
"Did you do something wrong?" Raven's voice finally echoed, and Lily hiccuped, causing him to narrow his eyes at her.
Lily covered her mouth with her hands. She didn't expect Raven to ask her such a question. But did she do something wrong? After she had declared to be his, that meant she wasn't supposed to be keeping things from him, but then Maya's life and freedom was on the line.
"Earlier, you were having second thoughts," Raven said, his eyes coolly looking at the girl beside him.
Lily pressed her lips, "About that, I wasn't really having second thoughts..." Her voice trailed.
