Meanwhile, the mysterious, monstrously strong young woman was already far away. She darted through the streets silently like the shadow of a bird of prey, occasionally leaping up onto tiled roofs to speed over to the next alleyway. Her black cloak flew behind her like a visible gust of wind. It could be said to be both an awe-inspiring and terrifying sight. Who on earth could run so quickly and so silently?! If she wanted to murder someone—no, if she wanted to murder a hundred people—she could do it without alerting a single soul! Terrifying!
The expression on her face, however, was far from intimidating. It was bright and buzzing with excitement. Gleeful, even. Her obsidian eyes glistened out from the darkness of her hood, gleaming with joy as she hopped and leapt and sped along roofs and alleyways. Where was she going? Who knew! All that was clear was that she was enjoying herself a whole lot.
