EX-WIFE RETURNS

Vaughn Mansion.

Just when Raven and Dwight arrived, they both went inside Dwight's room to rest. And since Dwight felt tired from the ride, he fell asleep just after laying down the bed. Raven, on the other side, takes his nap too.

He doesn't know of how long does he sleeping when he heard knocking outside the door. Confused, he stood up and strode to the door to open it. He sees Elena looking so anxious as if she doesn't know what to do to the things she may encountering.

"What's wrong? You look pale." Raven asked with hoarse voice.

Elena immediately grabbed his hand and squeeze it a bit before gulping. "R-Raven, what should we do?! We can't contact sir Xavier and we don't have contact number of his secretary. It's an urgent!"

Yeah, Elena is obviously panicking but Raven have no idea of why. She's sweating too and her eyes aren't focused. She's nervous and scared at the same time.

"Hold on.. Take a deep breath. Yeah, like that. Then tell me, what's going on?"

"T-That, someone arrived. And she's currently making a ruckus outside the gate. Trying to force herself in."

"And who is that might be?" Raven frown and even withdraw his hands from Elena.

Maybe it's just an omega who wants to get Xavier's attention. It's not that concerning if ever. But the way Elena panicked is also confusing.

"T-that person is, Sir Ex-wife! She have returned!"

Raven stumble when he heard that. The frowning got even deeper and he violently looked back to see if Dwight wakes up with their voice.

It's been three years, according to the rumors. How the hell that shameless Omega comes back without prior notice?! And making a scene outside the gate as that!

"Alright, give me a sec." Raven fakes his calmness and turned around to get his phone. Elena follows him inside the room to wait.

Taking a deep breath, he started dialing and wait for the person to answer. Even though, his mind is occupied by so many what ifs. Well, what if Xavier decided to make up with his Ex-wife? Then that woman will take care of Dwight and he'll be fired. But wait, don't they have a contact? Then that means, even that shameless woman comes back, he still have his job.

"Hello, Raven? What is it?" Edward picked up the phone.

"Sir Edward, is Mr. Vaughn busy?"

"Yes. Is there something important you wanna convey to him?"

"Well, honestly, I'm not sure if it'll not affect his concentration for work but I guess he really needs to know." Raven answered after sighing.

He heard some noise of movements on the line before a hoarse cold voice makes his heartbeat jumped up suddenly.

" What happened to my son?" Xavier's voice is so nice that Raven can't deny.

It's low and chilling, but can make your heartbeats race. It's hoarse that it sounds sexy. Raven gulped before speaking. He needs to relax to calm himself.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you, sir. But there is nothing happened to Dwight. Actually he's sleeping right now. However.." Thankfully, he still managed to speak calmly.

"However?"

"There is someone making a ruckus outside the gate of your house-"

"Let them be. They'll stop if you don't pay attention to them. If that's all then I'll end the call. You don't need to contact me if that's the only rea-"

"It is your Ex-wife who actually making a ruckus outside, sir." Raven emphatically said it with his eyes twitches.

Why does it feels like it's a sin to call this Alpha bastard?! He will never call this man if it isn't that serious! And besides, he called Edward, not him, right? He lives for 19 years not contacting his paternal and maternal families. Well, let's subtract the years when he still a child and doesn't know how to speak yet.

"Say that again?"

"You said they'll stop if we don't pay attention to them, right? Then, I'll end the call now-bye!" Raven said calmly but actually irritated.

"Raven!"

A loud and deep breath escaped his throat. He then shut his eyes tightly.

"Your Ex-wife is outside the gate, trying to force herself to enter the hou-he-hello?! Hello?!" Raven gritted his teeth when the call suddenly cut off. "This son of a bitch! He dared ended the call without letting me finish my words?!" He angrily shouted but also immediately stopped after realizing his actions.

When he turned to look at Elena, she's more shocked. That understandable. Who is in their right mind to dare curse their boss in front of other people? And he actually working for only a day and a half as of now! Where did he get his guts?

"Don't tell that to our boss, please." Raven scratch his cheeks while putting down his phone on the table.

When Elena shakes her head, Raven smile and tapped her shoulder before thanking her.

"Will he come here?" Elena asked.

"I think so. He ended the call just after he heard the word 'Ex-wife'. Maybe he's now rushing here now. Tell the others to relax and hides for now."

Hides, yes. As you all know, the maids always hides themselves except when Xavier called them. As if he's allergic to other people now, especially Omega and female Beta.

"Alright. Thank you Raven. I'll go down now. Rest here too and don't come out until everything's settled. I'm sure it'll be noisy later when the boss returned home."

"Yeah.."

When Raven close the door just after Elena went out, he takes a seat at the edge of the bed for a second. He then moves his eyes to the wall and to the closed window. He doesn't know to himself but he slowly stands up and walk towards there. Even the window is tinted, he can still see whatever is outside.

Then he saw a woman outside. Wearing red satin dress. Showing her cleavage to attract attention. Her face is covered with make up. She's not that white, but she's somehow have a light skin to mistakenly called white. Yes, she's beautiful. However, leaving a child who doesn't know how to crawl just to elope with your ex-husband's bestfriend, how she be that shameless to return?

While watching, Raven saw a black car arriving. He knows without guessing, that Xavier's car. He's still wants his Ex-wife to come back to them. Even though she did horrible things for both him and his son. Raven thinks if that is what they called true love?

Because for him, true love means, youre willing to live with your love one when he is on his downfall and help him rise to the top. You won't be affected by negative comments of others because your focus is only to him.

"An Alpha's love, huh? How stupid." Raven mumbled when he saw the woman rushed to embrace Xavier when he got down the car.

He turned around to go back to bed and chooses to sleep again than watching stupid scenes. Now that he remembers, her mom remarried just after two years since his father died.

How in the world that there is someone who couldn't stay loyal to their partners even they're already gone? He have seen some old Beta Woman and man living alone without their partner tho? Those people can stay loyal until the end, so why can't the Alpha and Omega do that?

"If i were an omega, I will never fall for an Alpha." Raven once again mumbled before closing his eyes.

Meanwhile, outside the gate, Edward is holding the paper while facing Sonia Joaquin. Xavier's Ex-wife.

Sonia is 27 years old. She was a model until she got married with Xavier. Her parents lives in Canada and have a 100 hectares of land for farmers. Yes, they are also rich, because not only they do have lands, her father also owned the industrial company. So, Sonia who lived like princess during her single life, couldn't stay to take good care of her child.

"W-What do you mean divorce? Xavier, y-you know that I can't divorce you because we have a child. And besides, I already left Alex. I realized that it is you who I truly love so-"

"Sign it then leave this place. You don't have a child with me. If you don't believe me, you can check it in civil registration office." Xavier said before turning around.

"W-wait! Xavier wait!" Sonia grabbed his arm. She also started crying. "I-I know I was wrong. I regretted it already I swear! And- and I also know that the reason why you're still alone is because you still loves me, right? So, why don't you give me a chance to-"

"I'm alone because I can't re-married. So sign that divorce papers so I can do that. Now get off me. Xavier pushed the woman and faced Edward. "Edward, if she doesn't sign the paper, force her to do so. I don't care what method you use, just make sure she did." Xavier also added as he get back in the car.
