Hopefully, the detective would get some quick answers considering the rather distinctive appearance of the woman's hair.
What was an East Eddes prostitute doing outside of the area while dressed in her best if not because of a client? Or was the potential client the killer?
Knowing the answer to that question might narrow down the list of suspects because, while there was a chance it was an opportunistic murder, the killer seemed a bit too over-prepared to have just chosen a random target.
