Moving Forward - Part 1

The two of them eventually got close enough to the main road to cancel their flight spells. It would be a very stupid idea to fly into the city after all. That would break a few too many laws. So the last bit was spent walking instead.

While access into the city was easy with their recognizable college outfits. They spent the rest of the time walking towards the Gillfall estate, just enjoying the silence for a while. Although the city was still bustling with early evening activites and people heading home from their daily labour.

Eventually they reached the Gillfall manor gates where the guards quickly stood at command of the young heir. Samuel shook his head, he would never become used to that. But he dismissed them as he walked inside.

The rest of the road was a small easy walk into the estate grounds. They eventually reached the estate itself and were greeted by butlers and maids that had somehow been notified of their arrival. They were greeted by a butler sent by Lady Faleah whom asked for them to join her for dinner.

When they finally arrived into the dining hall to join Faleah she instantly got up from her seat and tried her best to run in her dress. She half fell forward as she hugged both of them suddenly, without saying a word. After a minute of silence she finally took a step back and held both their hands as she looked at their faces, she had a worried look upon her face but after looking at the two of them for a while her worried eyes were replaced with relief.

It looked like the two had already supported eachother enough and gotten rid of the burdens. It made her heart sting slightly for her long gone husband and son. But she got rid of that feeling as she stroked both of their cheeks with a smile.

"I already heard everything. From both your ends!"

"You both did great and I am so proud of you both. It looks like you are already pressing on, so what else can I say except to give you encouragement to continue. Never stop fighting, ever!" She sighed and gestured for them to move to the dining table.

"Now, I am sure you are both quite hungry, so I asked the chefs to prepare plenty of food!" To which Samuel and Ulma looked at eachother with a small smile, Samuel almost saying 'I told you so' before they walked. But he kept his mouth shut and said it with his eyes instead.

The rest of their evening was spent chatting and eating for quite some time. Both Samuel and Ulma were indeed starving and ate several plates worth of food before feeling rejuvenated. They bid Faleah a good night to which she hugged them both again before letting them leave.

Together the two went to go sleep in Samuels room but not before quickly washing up. The minute they were done washing up and drying off, they quickly changed into more comfortable clothes before laying down in bed.

Samuel turned his head to wish her a goodnight but the moment he turned to her he fell asleep instantly because he was so exhausted. But she didn't care, because she had fallen asleep before him and only turned to face him in her sleep out of habit.

Morning came around the corner and they both slept in for quite some time until it was in the middle of noon. Samuel was the first to wake up as he had long white hair all over his face which made his nose tickle and make him almost sneeze.

He was barely able to stop himself but quickly jumped out of her hair which woke her up as well, "Good morning... pretty.. pretty hero!" She said in a half asleep state barely able to stay awake. Samuel responded by giving her a deep kiss with even a slight bit of tongue action.

When he pulled away she lay there wide eyed and fully awake, biting her lip she raised an eyebrow "Good morning" she said again but this time properly and with a hint of mischief in her voice. Samuel chuckled and pulled her up to a sitting position next to him as he hugged her to him tightly.

"Ready for another day of training?" He asked and she rolled her eyes when she knew he was unable to see, it should be illegal for a man to act so sexy and then instantly go to something else. "Yes but we should only train for a few hours this time, I want to check in on everyone else!" She sighed.

She started saying something else but her entire body tensed up and she moaned when he started massaging her sensually. "Did you think I was gonna leave you hanging?" He whispered in her ear which made her entire face almost purple from blushing as he slowly moved his hands further down.

He sat behind her for quite some time only giving her one sided work until she couldn't take it any longer and her entire body quivered as she exploded in bliss. She took a minute or two to calm down as she slowly gathered her thoughts again, this time it was her turn as she turned around and started kissing his face and then neck working her way down over his chest while pulling down his pants.

Before working her way all the way down the shaft much to Samuels surprise, they spent the rest of the noon exploring eachothers bodies and getting to know eachother in new ways. Before finally eating lunch and bidding Faleah farewell as they headed out to train. Ulma actually created a tree portal inside the Gillfall estate where no one else was and she made sure to close it and leave no traces behind.

In a few minutes they found themselves back in the grove, with no dragon or forest creatures in sight yet. They nodded to eachother and followed up on their training from the day before although shortening down the time spent.

Training body and mind before lastly magic. Samuel did a repeat of the exact things he had done the day before, as he was still ways away from mastering his own spells properly. He ended up crashing into trees only one time at least. But he continued to try and see every part of nature as a part of Ulmas body.

It helped him focus his spells subconsciously. Which made him get closer and closer to mastering the technique. While Ulma worked up quite a sweat from all the body training she put herself through.

Samuel took some time to also bond better with Night and allow her to show some of her abilities. She could use very complex shadow magic and she had almost full control over shadows. She could change shape from small to big. A really huge shadow dragon form which she could only hold for a few moments before starting to shrink.

"It would seem that I need to train as well!" Was what she had said and followed Samuel's example as she started training small time on her own while he was doing his own thing. Eventually afternoon was settling in and Samuel returned to Ulma who was completely drenched in sweat. "I worked up... huff, quite the sweat, huff." She groaned as her muscles ached.

To which Samuel walked up and applied a quick cooling cantrip, "Thanks Honey!" She sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Honey? Thats a new one!" Samuel chuckled, "Well you are sweet like honey.. so honey is fitting." She started chuckling before bursting out in laughter. Which he joined her in.

"Well aren't you the most adorable little creature!" Samuel said while he pulled her cheek. "I chant chelp et, e wes bhorn chis whay!" She spoke while he pulled it which made him smile really brightly. He let go off her cheek while shaking his head and she moved her hand up and rubbed her cheek, "Ow!" She whimpered slightly. "No more cheek grabbing for you sir!" She pointed her finger at Samuel as if she was scolding him.

He took the opportunity to cast some basic cleaning spells on himself and Ulma, which removed most of the sweat and smell. "Man, Cantrip spells are really amazing when you master them!" Ulma said as she sniffed her own body to see if she could still smell any sweat and felt none.

"I should really learn how to do that! It's amazing and really useful!" She said while taking his hand and they started to walk a bit. "I can't believe I always looked down on cantrip spells, I must have been an unbearable jerk last year!" She sighed while pulling him along.

He squeezed her hand, "Just a little bit!" He teased her with a smile and she scoffed and rolled her eyes with sarcasm that turned into a smile. "But yes, you should learn to master cantrips! They are quite amazing!" He added after a while.

Soon enough Ulma stopped at a few trees and focused on her magic to open the tree portal once more, it fluctuated a bit in the beginning and she looked a bit strained before it finally stabilized and she took a step back while breathing heavily. "Are you okay?" Samuel worriedly asked.

Ulma nodded and held up a thumb, before looking up at her portal and taking his hand and walked through it. Both of them saw the garden inside the college and expected to find themselves on the other side as they walked through.

But when they blinked a few times they were inside a gigantic grove with a tree stretching all the way up to the clouds. A large crescent purple lake was surrounding the tree in front of them. All that was in front of them was a long bridge that went from their side to the other side.

They looked back in shock to find their own portal was no longer there, but soon enough they heard the rustling of creatures. The turned back around towards the tree and saw dozen upon dozen of Unicorns and Forest Dragons and Drakes, and all kinds of other rare forest creatures that they had only seen once or twice in the magical forest.

But most of them appeared in books, Fairies and Pixies were also flying around many of them stopping to look at the two of them. Ulma quickly grabbed Samuels hand and held it tight, preparing herself for whatever was coming.

"You have finally arrived! Oh how long I have waited for you my child!" A Heavenly female voice suddenly spoke and they both turned their eyes in its direction.
