They say marriage is one of the greatest joys you’ll experience in life, but what does it say about your marriage when you can’t remember a single moment with the man you married? Veronica experiences the strangest thing one day when she wakes up in a hospital room without any memory of how she got there. She is introduced to her family who appear warm and loving at first but she soon gets a glimpse of how they want to use her for her money. Veronica is then surprised when a man enters the room and it is revealed he is not only her husband but a big hotshot businessman whose face is all over the news. She doesn’t understand how she got herself tangled up with such a man and later questions the accident which led to her losing her memories. What happens when her once perfect marriage isn’t as it was portrayed to be or when she realises family doesn’t always care about you?
"I'm sorry. I went too far trying to tell you about your mother. I'll hold up my end and show you the messages. If you could please not tell Mrs. Sterling-"
"I already said why I couldn't do that. If she wants you then so be it, but I have a feeling she will not try to get rid of you over this. Just go home, and we'll finish talking about it with my wife another time. You should look out for the car taking you home," Liam advised Edna.
Edna was too disappointed with her actions to say anything more. She should have told him about Adeline reaching out to her or simply not answering Adeline since she was aware of the strained relationship between mother and son. She got herself into something that she shouldn't have any parts of and it would be her to lose a good job.
Liam left Edna's side to make a call about Benjamin driving around the city. If he was lucky, he wouldn't wake up to the news reporting about his uncle hurting anyone.
